Hi, I have been searching the posts with no luck for an answer to the following question:
All the posts seem to indicate that the Blender is useless if used by itself without the tretinoin. Besides it's skin lightening effect (due to the hydroquinone), does the Obagi blender BY ITSELF have any regeneration properties?? Does this product benefit at all if used without the tretinion, or is it only effective with the tretinoin???

My derm told me it helps the retin a to penetrate further and that the two products must be used together.
