Damage from the stroke was extensive..BUT..he is getting better! Walks very well..uses a cute little brass cane when tired...speech is almost normal, slurs a litle when tired or excited (what good ole Tennessean boy doesn't?) lol..just kidding guys! The arm has been the biggest problem...still just ""hangs there""....his physical theraphy (legs) is pretty much done..now occupational(arms) begins in earnest! Can shrug his shoulder (never knew it would be so wonderful to see a man shrug a shoulder!!!)lol..That is first step we're told then movement goes down the arm! ALL PRAYERS ARE WELCOME....THANKS FOR THE MAMY MANY GOOD THOUGHTS N PRAYERS
Merry Christmas,,,,Much love |

I am glad that he is getting better. It does make you sit back & realise what is really important in life when things like this happen.
I am sure he will continue to improve & wish you all the best.
Have a lovely Christmas & remember to take care of yourself as well.
