I started this three weeks ago and after a false start using too much I love it. However, tonight I noticed dry patches midway between my ears and my mouth. Is it possible I need to adjust the percentages of EVOO and the Castor oil?

I can't answer on the castor oil/EVOO mix, but I'm a big fan of OCM. I use Laventine (used to be La Vitton) cleansing oil. I like LV oil because it comes in different formulas -- I use the one for normal/dry skin. |

Oh yeah! OCM is like stir fry. It can be whatever you like.
You can skip the castor oil (most likely what is drying you out) in the dry areas or use less of it. Add some grapeseed oil - antioxident, light but still moisturising to take place of castor oil? Just in case too much of EVO makes you break out. |

Hi BluesHeart,
It could, indeed, the amount of Castor Oil that's causing the dry spots ... although it could also be part of the "purging" process as well.
If you are currently using a 50/50 mix, then just add a touch more EVOO in your bottle. Or, for a night or two, just use EVOO as your cleansing oil ... if the dry spots go away, then you know that you need to up the percentage of EVOO in your mix.
Good luck
