| Does anyone watch this programme? I have to say that I watch it to encourage myself. Tonight, though, the lady in question was my age and the celebrity comparisons given were Renee Rousseau, Christie Brinkley and I can't remember the third one. Well, I might feel good compared to the poor lady undertaking extreme treatment,but certainly not against the celebrity ladies held up as role models for the same age. |

I've seen this programme and compared to Extreme Makeover I have to say the transformation was more realistic. On Extreme Makeover they undergo much more radical surgery and end up looking like Barbie dolls.
I'm dying to see what they do to the old age pensioner next week  |

I love this show.
The befores always make me think, Omigod I could look worse. The afters make me want a face lift & new teeth but never ever would I have one of those god awful face peels.
The famous people they say are the same age make me think oh crap I really do look awful. 
Cesce, it was Oprah Winfrey.
I also agree about extreme makeover, I think a lot of them end up looking like drag queens. |

| I don't think I've ever seen this - what channel is it on? I like Extreme Makeover, but I have to say I prefer the US version - the UK surgeons are much more conservative and not extreme at all! And some of those outfits they choose for the reveals are just hideous!! |

I've never seen this show, but a girlfriend told me she watched it often and the most regular thing they did which she thought made a lasting impact and immediate result, was teeth whitening.
(She told me this after I'd just had a face peel and some botox, so maybe that's why she ommitted those things.)
So I went and got my teeth whitened!
Am I suggestible, or what..  |
