Have any of you tried products from Evan's Garden? http://www.evansgarden.com/ It looks like a really complete line of natural, organic stuff, including skin care and MMU and even stuff for housecleaning! Very interesting. I just spent an hour cruising through her site, which is still in the process of being put together.
She has 64 different shades of MMU foundation! Plus, she has a product called "foundation base" which apparently you can mix your MMU powder with to achieve a liquid (creme?) foundation of varying coverage density. I'm definitely intrigued as I am still on the hunt for the perfect MMU.
She has an entire range of skin care products - anti-ageing, acne, etc., and they all sound so nice. She also has an entire range of internal body cleanse products that sound like the perfect thing to use at year's end to start the new year off fresh and clean, inside and out!
Please report back if you have any experience with this line, such as what product you used and how it worked out for you. I'm very interested in this company but want to hear from you girls first as to what experience, if any, you've had with it. Thank you! |

I tried a sample pack of the anti-aging skincare products. Again, I ended up with contact dermatitis
The owner, Evan, was very nice and answered my emails very promptly. |

Evan has some very nice products. One of my favorites is Creme Rose... it sinks in quickly, reduces redness and is great under makeup. Her Dreamsoap is also excellent and I love that I can choose the scent. |

I ordered Ma Jeunesse and Creme Rose almost 2 years ago when my craze for organic skin began. And I actually still have them sitting in my fridge. And Evan's skin care being preservative-free, I'm not sure if there are no yucky bacteria and mould lurking in there by now. Yet, I still can't bear to throw them away because they are rather pricey and still mroe than half full. The reason I never got round to finishing them was coz I always had a hard time getting them to absorb despite having normal-dry/dehydrated skin. There was always an annoying layer on the skin that I could roll off even after a few hours. Also the Ma Jeunesse had an extremely grainy texture that never melted upon contact with skin. No idea what's up with that. Maybe if I'd stuck it out, I'd have seen the results that many seem to have. Now I'll never know. Would love to hear others' experience though. For a really nice nourishing moisturiser, I'm really like Primavera's night cream. Hth somewhat. |
