Ingredients:
Octinoxate (7.5%), Octisalate (3.0%), Oxybenzone (2.0%)
Water (Aqua), Butylene Glycol, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Caprylic/Capric/Stearic Triglyceride, Shorea Stenoptera Butter,
PEG-100 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Silica, Stearic Acid, Lysine Lauroyl Methionate, Rice Amino Acids, Zinc Aspartate,
Chitosan Ascorbate, Retinol, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil Unsaponifiables, Cimicifuga Racemosa Root Extract, Caffeine, Siloxanetriol Alginate, Centella Asiatica Extract, Methylsilanol Mannuronate, Phytonadione, Dimethicone, Phospholipids, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinyl Palmitate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Panthenol, Sodium PCA, Cetyl Phosphate, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891),
Iron Oxides (CI 77491)
In addition to many ingredients that are rich in Vitamin C, it also has Ascorbyl Palmitate, which IS Vitamin C (in ester form).
Whether or not it satisifies your particular needs is almost impossible to determine in advance. It's a decent product, but different things work for different people. The only way to know for sure is to try a product that has ingredients that have a track record for effectively addressing your concerns and see if it actually works for you.
With that said, this particular section if for PRODUCT REVIEWS or questions and comments ABOUT PRODUCT REVIEWS. Hope that helps. |

I used it for a couple of days, but I had to return it because the sunscreen irrated my eyes. The skin was infamed. |

Hi lipgloss, I'm not too knowledgable ( YET ) about skincare ingredients and can only offer you my subjective opinion.
I've been using this for the last 6 months and can see a slight lift and fine lines at the corner of my eyes have been reduced. It goes on very smoothly and a little goes a long way.
However, if you put on too much and it gets into your eye, it can cause a little burning. There's a reason they tell you to only apply it to your brow bone! |

As far as sun protection goes if you are looking to protect the skin around your eyes from premature aging due to the sun then this product is inadequate. The sunscreen ingredients used mostly offer protection from the UVB rays and not the UVA rays (the UVA rays are the ones that cause premature aging of the skin). I do see titanium dioxide listed which does offer UVA protection but the titanium dioxide is not listed as an active ingredient and it is so low on the ingredient list that it essentially offers no real UVA protection.HTH |
