Not a mask but a treatment- psf's o2 serum! I used to think my skin had red undertones, not when i use this stuff! it's amazing, I've never gotten so many compliments on my skin. Even my dad complimented me when i saw my parents this weekend It's perfect for when you over do something (peels/manual exfoliation) |

I haven't found any masks avilable in the market which can do much to calm my skin yet. My skin is very thin and can get red or breakout after flight or with stress. But I found a very cheap and effective alternative to the mask. I use facial cotton pad to soak in the spring water, or even better the thermal water spray any brand is fine, and apply it to the face for 20 minutes or longer if you like. This works for me like magic. |

You know, everytime you finish your facial done in beauty salon, we will get redness on our face here and there due to the pimple or blackhead picking by the therapist.
I would suggest you to use Mary Cohr Soothing mask, I didnt mean that it will work for you too, but I like that it works for me except that the price is too demanding for me. |

Am also using PSF O2 serum I love it but the effects have seemed to hit a plateau for me. Still very calming though. Oh ya and Dr Hauschka's masks were great for me in the beginning until I developed a sensitivity to some of the ingredients. |

I don't know whether it would be okay for you, as it contains manuka honey, but I've found Living Nature's Hydrating Gel Mask to be very soothing and calming for redness and blotchiness. |

I use just regular ol' honey (the one in the bee - but the manuka honey is supposed to be better for topical application).
very moisturizing and soothing! - not really sticky or as messy as you'd think.
you can mix it with whatever else you think you'd like (perhaps oatmeal?) |

When my skin is really irritated I soak cotton pads in cold milk and put them on my face until they dry up, then rinse my face with cold water. This seems to help though I don't know about science behind it...sorry |

thanks guys actually I just tried the PSF Organic Moisture mask with honey in it and it seems to be fine - only I got a clogged pore the next day. Does this happen to anyone else? Will keep using and see what happens |

I can't say it's my fav because I haven't really used any other calming mask but Phytomer's Desensitizing mask is great. Gives me moisture yet calms down redness (from irritation) quite well WITHOUT clogging pores. It's super light so great for all skintypes but won't be moisturizing enough for dry skin types (it's not drying though) and can be used as often as needed. It also has so few ingredients that it's not likely to irritate sensitive skin gals. Easy to use and affordable! |

I use mashed cucumber and green tea mixed, when my skin feels in need of calming. |

dermalogica multivitamin power recovery mask--
when everything is feeling "grumpy" -- I can't quite explain it -- it's like dry and oily and rough all at the same time -- this is great to normalize everything. |
