Nothing is helping that much, I mean I have deeply hydrating creams, butters, oils, but I'm 51 now, and I'm no living in a very dry/cold climate, and my hands look so wrinkly now. I was used to a humid climate all my life with winters that weren't very cold.
I have Dr. Hauschka Hand cream and other creams, I have jojoba, shea butter, L'Occitane (but I'm trying to go more "natural" than the L'Occitane since I have fibro and sensitivities).
So I'm thiking Emu Oil, but should I get Dremu or what ?
Oh yes, and I've been using CE Ferulic Vit. C on my hands to try and firm them, and maybe it's helping, but I'm not sure yet.
I don't like Vaseline or petroleum products, but I do have a really nice "balm" made simply of a few oils and beeswax, all natural, from dakotafree dot com website, it helps, but wrinkly hands are still there.
I never had them like this until this winter, all of a sudden, Yikes. |

Hi, I turned 51 last week and have the same problem. It seems to have just "appeared" in the last few months. I don't think creams will really help too much, as I've tried them all and emu oil as well. With me, it seems to be loose skin. I might try DMAE to see how that works. Maybe someone more experienced will show up to let you know what might work.I think it's all part of getting older unfortunately. |

Have you tried exfoliating and then drenching your hands in almond oil and leaving overnight in some cotton gloves?
it's a nice beautifying treatment. |

In Beijing winters I used to use Skinbio's P&R 3 - a Copper Peptide cream with Retinyl Palmitate plus emu (any old cheap emu is fine for hands). It worked well for me.
It may not be your age it's amazing what 0% humidity can do to make your skin look whithered. When you go back to a better climate you'll look lovely again. |
