Hello,
Has anyone tried this line yet? My BFF in the states just bought this line's Dew Cream which cost about US125. She tried the product on her hands before she bought it from Nordstrom. She said she was sold once she put on the cream.
Here is her website http://www.drjessicawu.com
It sounds very interesting to combine the east with the west on skincare. I wish I can figure out a way to get some samples to try |

Hi Wild Cat - I got a sample a while back (with a Sephora order I believe) of her White Peony eyecream and was really impressed! It didn't leave an oily residue which I appreciated for daytime use, and really made fine lines disappear. I'm saving the rest for 2 black tie holiday parties coming up! The price is high but I just may take the plunge! |

Hello m.april,
Everytime I hear people can get samples from Sephora makes me want to cry There is no Sephora in Vancouver and since I place all my skincare order with EDS...I have no way of getting samples from Sephora. I was even considering a visit to Nordstorm in Seattle to try the products. (Me and my fiance are planning a trip to Seattle soon).......Then, I just realize that Nordstorm in Seattle do not carry the line
I am such a sucker for good product... |

Just a suggestion - could her website possibly give samples?www.drjessicawu.com I'd imagine they'd be able to help. |

I tried her eye cream awhile back. It was deliciously thick and luxurious. In fact, it was too much for me! I wasn't interested in moisturizing - I wanted something that was more of a firming formula (which I ultimately found). But, if you do need moisture, this stuff is really lovely! |

My BFF in the States promoised me that she will try to get some samples for me after crazy holiday shopping season. She mentioned to me that this line is getting big hypes in Hollywood...but what else isn't? |

OMG! Dr. Wu is a REAL doctor! She practices in Brentwood, CA which is right near me! I can be there in 10 minutes. I am *SO* going to book an appointment with her - it'd be rad to have her as my dermo! |

It might sound silly that I didn't know she was a real doctor - but you never know these days!
I'll keep you guys posted. I wonder if her practice is even still open? - sometimes when doctors get overwhelmed with too many patients, they temporarily shut their practice down as to new patients. Years ago I was recommended to a world-renowned endocrinologist and it practically took an act of Congress or a dispensation from the Pope to get in to see him! That, and he'd say to come back for follow-up in a week, and it would take three weeks or more just to get an appointment!
I'm sure she's in demand because now her products are "famous" and since we're so close to the movie studios, she's probably inundated with movie stars! Hopefully she'd agree to see little ole me! |

Not only that, Mermaid, but she's also frequently on the TV show "10 Years Younger".
Her office is very close to mine...let me know if you're able to get an appt and what the story is. I wasn't thrilled with my last couple of appts with my derm (not so much him but a couple of members of his staff) and would like to find a new doc.

Hi Again Wildcat! I went to an annual Nordstrom's cosmetics celebration in L.A. & all the make up people were there. I had a chance to talk to Dr. Wu for a second , and I must say, she has LOVELY skin. I would love to go to her for a dermatology appt. |

Avalange,
I will post a review of her Dew Cream soon. My BFF is too shy to share her experience on the forum but she is an avid reader of the forum. |

The ingredient list for the Dew Cream is less than desirable...
Deionized Water, Glycerin, Emulsifying Wax, Isopropyl Palmitate, Sorbitol, Dimethicone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Radix Paeoniae Alba (White Peony), Radix Scutellariae (Chinese Skullcap), Cyclopentasiloxane, Phenoxyethanol, Cetyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 20, Stearyl Alcohol. |

Dr Wu is great.
She's a really, really good doctor. And very nice. Unfortunately, she doesn't take insurance. So I see her rarely. Her products are good also. |
