Hi Mabsy. You're in Australia, right? I'm wondering how long it takes for you to get an EDS package.
I ask because I'll be moving to New Zealand next July and I hope to keep ordering my faves from EDS. I assume it would be about the same transit time as shipping to Australia.
Thanks,

I am not Mabsy but I do live in Australia and I have had a lot of orders from EDS, most are 6 days, a couple were 7 days and a couple were unbelievably 5 days. |

Thanks for responding. So that's just regular shipping? I mean, you didn't pay extra for Federal Express or anything? |

No, I didn't ask for special shipping. My parcels have always been sent in the normal method that EDS uses. |

I've had the same experience as Bushy. Most I get within a week - some I have got in as little as 3 or 4 business days and I still don't know how that was possible. I never paid extra for fedex or anything like that - it's always been the standard shipping. I did have one parcel that took ~2 weeks courtesy of customs. |

That's weird...unless I pay an extra $25 or more for FedEx shipping, it takes 4 to 8 weeks for an EDS package to get to Hawaii.
The airmail stamp only gets it on a plane as far as Los Angeles. Then it gets put on a boat to Hawaii (a very slow boat with plenty of warehouse time.)
Well, I'm happy to know I'll get my packages cheaper and faster in New Zealand.
Thanks! |
