I bought double eyelid fibre strips (not Mezzaik but similar) and I can't figure out how to use them.

The photos aren't explicit and I can't read Japanese!

I have a slight crease already so I know where to place the fibre. I stretch the fibre and stick to my eyelid - then I use the tool and push the skin slightly under the fibre.

The problem is - the double eyelid doesn't hold. I end up with a string sitting on my eyelid.

Anyone use tape and have suggestions? I don't know if I'm pushing the wrong area or placing the fibre incorrectly.

My cousin used these, not understanding exactly how the sticker/strip is staying on. Is it folding up on you? I haven't used it since I was lucky enough to have decent creased lids (thanks mommy for that). Are you placing the strip the top of the strip along your crease?

I have a brand that looks the same as the Mezzaik brand. It looks like sticky teeth flossing material. It sticks to your eyelid and you use a plastic tool to press in a crease.

I've seen videos of the glue but that almost seems easier because the glue covers a large area. Mine is thinner than flossing material.

So, it looks like fine, sticky, flossing material. It sticks on my eyelid, and holds a crease for 2 seconds, but then the crease unfolds and I have a string stuck to my eyelid! Embarassed

Rjez, you might want to PM Dollbird about this, she has experience using it or a similar product. You could also search for the "Eyelid Tapes" thread - I think she contributed to it and has information there.

Yup, I've pm'd Dollbird and a couple of sellers on Ebay.

I tried again yesterday afternoon and same thing ... As soon as I blink the crease goes away and I'm left with a string across my eyelid.

I've tried placing higher and lower so now I'm wondering if I need a longer or shorter strip. Anyway, this is getting expensive since I've gone through half the pack because it loses stickiness with all my attempts.

You can always try the eyelid string/tape and solidify the crease with an eyelid glue. That will work.
