Hello, I need help as I am absolutely and officially confused now by all the various PSF products that I should use. I am hoping that someone can help me figure out what products I should try.
Background: I am a 38 y.o. Asian female. I have often been mistaken by strangers as anywhere from 18 to 27 years old. I don't really have any lines to speak of if I don't smile, but as soon as I smile, you can see lines at the corners of my eyes and under. I also notice some fine lines on my nose, and I think my forehead could use some product to tighten the skin there. I sometimes look tired around my eyes, so I think I need a product that will firm and lift my eyes. My pores aren't too large, but they are there as they weren't in my 20s. I have dry skin and don't have acne problems until very recently I noticed one would pop up around my period time.
I was thinking to get the PSF green tea cleanser, the R&R toning mist OR o2 serum, the cranberry eye lift, the hydrating eye cream OR the supercoll c eye serum, the retinol night repair serum, the emergen-c repair serum 12% (for day time), the herbal sunscreen lotion, and the some moisturizer (either the HA serum or the perfecting day lotion).
Am I overdoing the regimen? I am pretty lazy, and get confused easily by what I need to put on my face. So the least number of things to put on would be the best for me. Any recommendation? Thank you. |

I have both PSF toners, and I like the Firming Facial Toner more than the R&R. The R&R smells strongly like cucumbers, which I am not crazy about.
I wouldn't get the straight HA unless you plan to use it under another moisturizer. HA enhances other products, but I do not think it is great on its own. Many of the PSF products already have HA as an ingredient. For example, the Vit C has it, so it might be overkill to get it in addition.
I think the sunscreen is moisturizing, so you might not need an additional day moisturizer.
Whatever you decide, I would get the samples from the PSF site to try out. They now have travel sizes, which are another good option. The full size versions, especially of the cleansers, are very large and it would be a lot to waste if you found you didn't like it. I made the mistake of ordering the full size Green Tea Cleanser, and I am not thrilled with it. I don't like it as well as other cleansers I've used, but I feel like I have to use it up to not waste money. It's gonna take a long time...

I've used the HA and the Cranberry Eye-Lift. PSF skincare is good, but it's great that it has the sample sizes. |

I would also recommend getting samples first.
I like some of the products, but not others. |

Jeannine - I am thinking of getting the full size PSF Green Tea Cleanser. Just curious as to why you are not too thrilled with the product? Did you have a reaction to it? |

missykiehls, I've had no reaction and it's not smelly or anything like that. It has a consistency and feel like a creamy moisturizer, so I wonder if it's really removing all traces of makeup and doing a good job as a cleanser. I just don't like washing my face with a moisturizer. I like other cleansers better (e.g., MD Formulations Facial Cleanser w/ Glycolic) because I can feel for sure that my face is truly clean yet not irritated.
