I'm looking for a new shampoo and conditioner. I used to have many problems with my hair but I've discovered an internal cause for my hair issues. Now that that's solved I'd like to try using cheaper hair care products. I'm using Alterna hydrating shampoo and conditioner now. I was planning on trying Pureology next but I'm feeling broke. My hair is much healthier than it was. My hair is thick, curly, colored and a bit dry. I'm looking for something without sulfates and good for color treated hair. Any suggestions? TIA! |

Enjoy products are sulfate free and they are gentle on color treated hair. |

a cheaper alternative is "Paves" I prefer the pureology though, it seems less drying and better at getting rid of the gunk... |

Try Avalon organics shampoo and conditioner, everything in it were natual and organic. I love the Lavender one. |

I am really enjoying some of the the John Masters Organic line but am not sure how it compares cost-wise. It's good for colour-treated hair and seems to even brighten up the colour. |

I use the pureology volumizing shampoo and I really like it, however, I've noticed that my Alba Hawaiian Honeydew Hairwash does JUST as good as a job (if not better) at a fraction of the price--- doesn't make my color fade either. The honeydew wash has a lot of fans here--- I think you'd really like it.^-^ |

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I had to go to Ulta today to pick up some stuff and the only one that they had was Paves. So, I'm going to give that a try. Whole Foods carries Alba, right? I'd love to find something that I can consistantly find at one store. Alterna's always so hard to find. Drove me nuts! |
