I went in the ABC store on Xmas (only place open) and noticed that they are carrying Burt's Bees now, hooray! In addition to several other goodies, I picked up a Lip Shimmer in Papaya. There were no testers, but the color on the outside of the tube looks like a reddish brown (like my beloved Prada No 5). Unfortunately, after I got home I discovered the actual color of the balm inside was frosty orange, yuk.
It was only 4.95, no big deal, but I figured I might save someone else the 4.95 by posting that papaya is not what it seems. |

I love Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers but agree that the colors on the outside are not always what's on the inside. However, I have found that mixing them can sometimes create a GREAT new shade. Try layering the Papaya with the Champagne and you might get a nice soft, shimmery peach (perfect for spring/summer).

My favourite shade is the Nutmeg one. |

I have several of these and I like them because the color yield is high. Meaning color output is high and the price...well you can't beat it. |

i like the way the shimmers make my lips tingle. and the color i have (champagne) is shimmery yet neutral. unfortunately i find that my lips are dried out from it within a couple hours. drier than before i used the gloss. |
