Just curious what brush and how long you are using it for. I am sure we are all different. |

I use the regular brush on the longest program and I use it both morning and evening. I clean my brush with my steam cleaner every week when I am cleaning the bathroom and that does a good job of eliminating discoloration from makeup. |

I use the sensitive in the am and pm on the shortest setting but not on my upper cheeks near my eyes where my rosacea can flare up or have broken caps. |

I'm currently using the sensitive brush, although I prefer the regular and will use that again once the sensitive one needs to be replaced.
I use it nearly every night, probably for (between) 1 to 2 minutes (depending on how much time I feel I need to devote to it). |

I'm still using my sensitive brush on the lowest setting, for three minutes total. I divide my face into "thirds" - forehead and temples = 1 area, left cheek, jawline and side of nose, lips = 1 area and the right side = 1 area and each area gets 1 minute, sometimes twice a day (AM and PM).
I credit the Clarisonic totally with really refining my pores - they are smaller and more refined using this skin care tool. I love mine! |

Another reason why I love my Clarisonic- the excellent customer service!! Out of the blue I receive a package with the delicate brush head from Clarisonic, just for me to try it out. It is even more gentle than the sensitive, but i will be giving it to my mother, who is prone to broken caps, because i've graduated to the normal brush head, highest setting, 2 mins. |

Am currently using it with the regular brush head for 1 minute in the evenings after I remove my makeup with DHC Deep Cleansing Oil |

Man...I really want one of these. Maybe I can find one on sale somewhere.
I hear nothing but raves (well, of course there are always a few complaints, but you can't please every one )about it and I really think it would do great things for me.
Le sigh.
This is definitely "on my list" but probably not until I have quite a bit of extra money that does not need to go to something else (kinda rare in my case...)
Has it really made THAT big of a difference? (Oh dear, I think I just might have dug my hole deeper by asking that question!) |

ParisTroika - I actually find Epidermx made a bigger difference, for my skin anyways. And both products both serve the same purpose being manual exfoliators, only diff is one is a microdermabrasion product and the other is a tool. I wrote a review comparison on both products which should be in the Review section somewhere - maybe pg 2 or 3.
But in keeping with the thread I use this highest setting, 2 minutes (but in actually I use 3 have 1.5 minutes for my forehead and chin since I start on my cheeks first where my congestion problem lies) with normal brush head. |

The Clarisonic was a little post-Christmas gift from me to me, and I've been using it about a week now. Finally ratcheted up to normal speed, with the regular brush (after using the sensitive one and low speed for the first few days).
The pores on my chin are looking less congested (Yay), and the ones in the nose area look cleaner for sure, but no smaller yet. I remind myself to be patient and diligent, and good results will show with time.
It seems to be helping also with the never-ending flakies caused by seborrheic (sp?) dermatitis -- that's actually what I bought it for -- because topical medication doesn't solve the problem completely, AHAs cause nasty irritation, and I still need to exfoliate. I'm sure the scrub I was previously using was way too harsh and contributed greatly to the fine disply of broken caps on my face, but I didn't know what else to do. The face brush is certainly more gentle, but I'll be monitoring my capillary farm and checking that there's no increase. |

Happy Clarisonic Camper here! I use the gentle brush w/ my dermalogic essential cleansing lotion in the AM & PM. AM for 1 minute and PM for 2 minutes with the other minute for my neck area. I love how clean my skin feels and no more skin flakes! This company also makes the sonicare toothbrush? Cuz I love that also!!

I use the sensitive brush for 2 minutes - once or twice a day (morning/evening). My pores are less clogged -- I can tell when I use a tool to purge my nose pores - and smaller. Plus, moisturizers, etc. seem to cross the skin barrier much better. |

The clarisonic was my first, well actually so far my only purchase from EDS. I got the one that comes with the universal cradle to use in Australia. I'm using the sensitive brush head for one minute at night to remove makeup thoroughly. I've just recently had some BBL laser treatment on my face so will keep using the sensitive for a while. I would definitely say it cleans skin of foundation very well and as I wear foundation and sunscreen everyday now this is very important to me. I cannot say I have had miraculous results in the few weeks I've been using it but my skin is smooth which I put down to this and my Jan Marini cleanser in the am. And to tell the truth I actually just love to use it. It feels so nice. |

I use my Clarisonic for two minutes am & pm and have been for about the past four months. I didn't notice a huge difference at first, but over time, my skin is smoother, healthier, doesn't break out as much, doesn't need as much product and I definitely notice a decline in my skin's condition if I miss a day. I'm so glad I finally bought one!! |

After reading all the raves about the Clarisonic on EDS I bought one for my very congested, cystic skin. At first I was using the Sensitive brush for about 2-3 minutes twice a day. I then did more reading and thought that the Delicate brush on my VERY angry, inflamed, bumpy skin was the best thing as I didn't want to upset it more. I used the brush 1-2 minutes (more 2 minutes than 1) AM and PM. It has changed the texture of my skin! I feel like my makeup comes off completely and that my skin can actually breathe. I love it and recommend it to anyone with congested, acne prone skin.
It hasn't helped with stopping the cystic acne, I had to take antibiotics for that. It has helped bring the ones with no head closer to the surface so that the creams and serums could do their job more effectively.
My skin is now less oily, has the odd cystic acne that goes away really quickly, is luminous (people keep asking if I'm pregnant coz my skin is glowing!) and I am so happy I bought it. I had an issue with the price of it but when you consider that you use it twice EVERYDAY, it's a great investment. What better to spend money on than yourself - it has really helped with my self esteem. I have been using it since October (so I'm going into my 5th month now). I'd like a pink one next but I'm sure it doesn't work any different haha.
I look forward to washing my face, it's like my twice daily mini spa treatment |

I bought a Clarisonic based on the reviews on this forum. I have combination, super sensitive, acne prone skin. I had been using Murad acne cleanser and Pro-Active healing lotion with decent results and recently have tons of break outs and dry skin.
I used it last night for the first time. My face looked and felt good after using it. I had no new blemishes this morning and previous break outs calmed down and my dry skin was improved.
So far I love it
Thanks for sharing your experiences |

don't worry too much about it, ParisTroika.
i think if you use exfoliants in the forms of peels, cleansers, and the manual brushes, mitts, etc... then that will suffice. from what i gather, many members are just using this on their face. if you're just going to use it on the face, there are much cheaper alternatives that are effective.
i think the enthusiasm if from having a cute spinning gadget... its always fun to play with toys.
with all the different versions coming out now.. mia, classic, plus, pro...and soon the opal... i do see the prices dropping. i'm sure you'll see a great deal on for one of these soon.
let us know when you get one! |
