I recently discovered a lovely site called Evan's Garden (I believe it was Mermaid Girl who first mentioned it?), and I tried out a product of theirs called Hygenic Hand Spray. Here's the description of it from the website:
This powerful but safe hand cleaner is useful for cleaning up while you're out and about, spraying on boo-boos to clean them, help them heal and feel better fast, for spraying around your space or onto your face for a refreshing and yet relaxing lift. A bit of glycerine, rose hip seed oil and aloe vera soothe and soften the skin. You'll find a lot of uses for this spray. Use also for cleaning anything such as lavatory door handles or anything that you are hesitant to touch. Such is the disinfectant power of the lavender and lemon verbenon plant waters and essential oils of lavender, niaouli (melaleuca quinquinerva), tea tree oil, neem oil and other ingredients in this wonderful hand wash. This sounded like a perfect product for me because when I travel I use those alcohol-based sanitizers like it's my job, but they tend to dry out my hands. While I was traveling for the holidays recently I test-drove this product, and it beats the heck out of the old hand sanitizers!!! For one thing, it's not drying at all--- it's actually slightly hydrating. Also, it smells wonderful. I used it after every rest stop, and also I spritzed it around my hotel room to freshen it up. I ordered a small bottle to try it, but I'm definitely re-ordering the large bottle!

The ingredients are: aloe vera gel, basil essential oil, biodynamically grown grape alcohol, black pepper essential oil, lavender hydrosol, lemongrass essential oil, mountain spring water, patchouli essential oil, sage essential oil, white vinegar |
