I recently ordered Alph Derma CE plus the prep and cleansing milk after reading many good reviews. Does anyone know if some product sites make up their favorable quotes? I really wonder about this product line, because the cleanser is loaded with flower extracts, which I've always read is really irritating. My face got itchy with little red spots within 2 days,so I stopped the cleanser part. Don't feel any tightening from the prep either. Anyone else have a problem with this line? |

I found that I just didn't feel I got any results from the product and it tended to make my skin feel too oily. I gave it to a friend who does like it. |

There are some devoted users on this forum, and I can tell you that it really works for some people. (Try doing a search for the topic.) I used it for a while. I liked it, and I did see some improvement. I moved on, though, because I'm not one of the ones it was fantastic for, and I lost interest in the line. That was partly because it was all so expensive and I still needed an additional moisturizer. |

I use the AlphaDerma night and day cream as an extra over my IS clinical serums. It soaks in, nice texture, no HUGE benefits, but no negative side effects. I will keep an eye on the results. Since I got them with the free shipping, I enjoy them more! |

I was looking through the threads that Candy sent you links for, and I remember a few things I liked and didn't like about their products.
The Mineral Prep serum is the part of the line that I liked the most. If I still had some, I would probably use it. I'm not sure what it was about it, but I could definitely tell the difference when I didn't use it. I am a serum junkie, though.
The second thing I liked is that while I was using the line, I practically couldn't make my forehead (11's area) frown. I wasn't expressionless, mind you, but I think it's probably really good with preventing forhead 11's. I'm now using PSF's Browtox for that, but it's not as effective as the JB line.
One thing I didn't like was that the Ouskil actually made me have lines around my eyes, which I didn't have before using it. I think I probably needed an additional cream on top.
I think I also had a slight problem with the products balling up when I added moisturizer on top or went to do my makeup, so I don't feel like they absorbed well.
Oh - Also, I didn't like the cleanser at all. It smelled funky to me, but it didn't actually cause me any irritation. Maybe you could return it??
Overall, for me, the forehead immobility wasn't worth the price of the line, especially since I still needed moisturizer. The line just wasn't addressing my problems because I don't have the forehead issues.
I realize this is not really what you were asking for in your post, but I guess all this was to say that I don't think JB is a complete rip-off. Their products just seem to be really effective for some people and very unremarkable for others. Unfortunately, I was in the latter category, except for a couple of bright spots. |
