I’ve been living in Philadelphia for 2 years now and recently a friend visited from Vermont. We are the same age, but I noticed that her skin looks completely different from mine. While her still glows like when we were teenagers, mine now has aged extensively. At first I thought it was the city’s water, but what I think it is from is from the city’s smog. The enviornment that I am in has changed my skin, or atleast it is not as clean as it use to be. I have done nothing different in my cleansing routine. I do not like harsh chemically products, especially for my face. So about a month ago I started using a Cleansing Milk that I found at Whole Foods. It is by Reviva Labs which is right over one of the bridges from Philadelphia to New Jersey. I checked out their website and they have a whole bunch of different products that are more natural than what I knew was available. I want to buy their Skin Peel, but I want to know if any one has tried it. Let me know. |

Hi Organic Guru. Sorry, I haven't used the product you're asking about, but just wanted to welcome you to the forum! I'm sure someone will be able to help you though. Good Luck! |

Are you wearing sunblock daily? I think that and a vitamin C serum would do the trick. I'm not familiar with the products you mentioned though, sorry... |

I absolutely concur...the enviroment can affect the health of our skin. I don't know much about the products that you are interested in, but this is a huge forum. I'm sure others will chime in. |

I know when I moved to the countryside, my complexion changed over the months. It became clear and smooth and MUCH better.
I live in a city again now, and have city skin, unfortunately - very hard to keep pores clear and look glowy. |

Unfortunately, today's city-dwelling wreaks havoc on skin from constant environmental pollutants. While an effective cleansing and exfoliation routine does help, what is really needed are powerful anti-oxidants to combat those nasty little free radicals. The best known super anti-oxidant is SOD (Superoxide Dismutase). I would also recommend Candessence's Ultra Triple Vitamin C Serum for giving you back that healthy glow. JMHO
