I just wonder the dipping and redipping in to the lash serum tube should introduce a lot of bacteria in to the serum. I used to use Talika Lipocils and after a month or so passed I started to wonder how clean it was inside that tube. I just ordered RevitaLash, and wanted to make sure I keep it clean and don't want to dip and redip. Any suggestions from others who use either Jan Marini lash growth serum or similar products? |

Cherisse, here's what I was taught to do when applying make-up or skincare products from the same container(s) to a number of people. First, clean a non-porous surface (a make-up artist's small metal palette, a knife blade, a small hand mirror or, in a pinch, baking parchment) with 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol to disinfect it. Then, deposit the desired serum/product on the cleaned surface and use a separate clean brush or applicator to pick up and apply the serum from the metal/glass/paper surface. You'll always suffer a tiny bit of waste, but this method keeps contamination to a minimum, especially where eye products are concerned.
