I recently purchased this mascara in Black and I'm really loving it. I am a fan of Clinique mascaras anyway but this one is by far my favorite. There is no flaking at all and my lashes still feel very natural. I had to wipe off the wand before using it the first time as there was way too much product but after that is has been ok. I like a lot of mascara and this gets there after 2 coats...I did have to recurl my lashes (once it dried) but it has held the curl all day. I'm really loving this stuff....oh....it came right off when I washed my face with my normal cleanser...which is a plus. No eye makeup remover needed.

I wonder if this is the same product as the old Clinique long stemmed lashes mascara Question

I'm a recent convert to Cliniques Glossy Mascara -- I love the jet brown -- nice and dark without being toooo dark. Very natural looking.

I'll have to check out this one -- thanks for the review!

Did the Clinique long pretty lashes one add any volume or just lengthen?

Also, when you said about two coats, do you put them on straight after the other (i.e. whilst first coast is still wet) or do you mean you let one coat dry and then add another coat?

I second the Glossy mascara rave. I use black, and it has been a favorite of mine for many years. I try out new mascaras every once in a while, but I always come back to the Glossy for everyday wear. My last tube wasn't all that great though, it doesn't seem as gentle as in the past. I wonder if I just got an old tube. I hope they didn't change the formula.

I like the glossy mascara. I bought some back in December when I first had my lashes curled.

This week, I bought the Clinique glossy and also the volumizing one. One for day time and one for night time.

I put one on each eye. The glossy went on absolutely fine and looks nice and natural but can be built up with a second/third coat (but I just do it when it's wet so i don't know if that counts as different coats). I put the volumizing one on the other eye. It was a faff as the brush is designed in a way that it gets loaded up with product so you have to wipe it off lots and it kept smudging when it went on. And it took ages to dry. And it hardly looked different from the built up glossy.

So I'm wondering whether to try and get them to exchange it for one of the others, maybe the long pretty or the high impact?

I've tried the high impact and HATED it. It clumps and flakes and it made my lashes look stubby and caked. I'm a fan of the long and pretty. I love the gentle waterproof as well...it washes off with normal cleansers.

Good luck.

I have been using BE Big Flirt mascara and its nice. Thought it was my HG but not so now...it clumps a bit.
