I use botox for my crows feet...doesnt last long at all maybe 6 weeks max.I saw the wrinkles come back last week so I took some of that janson beckett DermaExcel7 and pressed it into the crows feet and it greatly reduced them,I saw results right away.I may not have to have botox anymore that will save a ton of $$$.I also use skin medicas TNS recovery complex too, maybe its the combo that knocked out the wrinkles. I remember the lady who sold it to me at the drs. office told me you have to press the dermaexcel7 down firmly into the wrinkle...I am pretty amazed by the results.

Hi Lucy. What exactly do you mean "press it in"? Thanks.

With most of these kind of actives you are supposed to massage the product into the muscle, because it works on the receptors within the muscle cells to reduce/interfere with muscle contractions.

Has anyone had experience with this product and also with PSF's BrowTox? Is this one the most potent/effective the OTC products out there?

The biggest problem with these type of products is remembering to use them 2X a day. Embarassed and first, on dry skin & leaving them in for 15 minutes or so before applying anything else. They all work pretty much the same-I've tried PSF % cellularskin's and the results were ...well....o.k. Remember...you can still frown. I think they made more of a difference on my forehead lines than my 11's-probably because I have 2 teenange girls & I'm constantly scowling.

I'm actually using the one from skincubed at the moment and so far (it's only been a week-not the required month to see results) it's been working better than the others I've tried...don't want to jinx it.

I use DermaExcel from time to time. It is a nice treatment when you are going out and want to look your very best. I found it does a nice job on deeper lines and lines above lip. The results of this topical only last (me)approximately four hours and only when used over AlphaDerma.

There is no question I am a big fan of Janson Beckett products. In all honesty (for me) AlphaDerma does just as well as DE7. Actually, I like AlphaDerma better. ADCE can be applied to my whole face and neck for a uniform firming appearance. The results of ADCE is cumulative and lasts with continued use. The results from DermaExcel are very temporary.

I have been using most of their products for three years and very pleased. Their has been some talk about the safty of Argireline a while back. Certainly I have not had a problem with it. To my knowledge no EDS members have either. IMO it was a scar tactic.

You can use AlphaDerma with other brands if you like. At present I use it with Candessence DMAE and just starting to try out her Vit C 25%. Certainly in the beginning I would use a Vit C, AlphaDerma and only a moisturizer if needed. I say that because if you start mixing too much you will not know what product is making a difference or not. It can get rather confusing.

Hi Beautydream
I'd be careful about choosing a sunscreen after Alphaderma because it already contains some ss chemicals and these might conflict with your chosen SS.

Shock I doubt you would absorb too much ingredients. Since JB came out with a night cream I only use Alphaderma on my face and neck once a day. Unfortunately, I never had the luxury to use it on my whole body. Although it could use it. Laughing That would get rather pricy don't you think?

I agree with Winnie. I found that the Alphaderma CE worked better than the Dermaexcel 7. I saw great results from ADCE within a few days....but didn't see much results with Dermaexcel 7 even after using the entire bottle.

I am glad it is working for you though!!!!

I personally would not use the ADCE on my body at all (too much area) because it contains oxybenzone which as I understand is absorbed through the skin. I don't think that too much would be absorbed if you limit application to your face, though.

Sorry I forgot.....I apply AlphaDerma around the eye bone. Do not apply on lid! The only product I use on my lid are the ampules.

This question is for Winnie. I purchased the AD/CE, the cleanser, and the Facial Prep recently mainly because of the high rating on a wrinkle cream site. Wgen I got them I was really surprised to see that the cleanser was filled with flower oils or extracts, which I have always heard are very irritating to the face. My face started itching the 1st night, and 2 days later I had red spots. I stopped this and kept on with the other 2 things, but this has really made me wonder about the whole line. In fact I had boxed everything up to send it back when I somehow got on this site and read all the raves. Do you have an opinion about why the cleanser is made this way. No one has really mentioned this cleanser that I could see. Thanks!

I have no knowledge of the formulation of the cleanser. Actually, I like it and find it very gentle on my skin. I would suggest if you have any concerns you should call the company. Sorry I don't have an answer for you. I use several cleansers...JB being one of them.

I've used both the JB products (ADCE and DermaExcel 7) and the PSF browtox. For me, the JB products definitely work better than the PSF for that botox-type effect. I used the JB for a while and then switched to the PSF. I can definitely tell the difference since I switched. I've moved on from JB because I had other issues that the line wasn't covering, but for those who are wondering, between the two, JB is better.

Thanks, Tosca! Did you always use the ADCE and Derma-Excel together? And, now that you've moved on are you still working on expression lines? If so, what product are you using now?

Yes, Poco Loco. I always used the DermaExcel with the ADCE, but I sometimes used the ADCE alone. I'm still working on expression lines, but now I'm going the IS Clinical and Retinol route. I personally see more progress this way, but I know that JB products work. (Look at Winnie!)

I'm using the PSF to spot-treat between the brows so I don't get 11's because I frown a lot. I'm dissatisfied with the PSF, so when I get done with it, I probably will either try Relax A Line or buy more ADCE just for spot treatment.

Understand that my forehead 11's are not my main area of interest, though. If they were, I'd stay with the JB products. My main concerns are naso labial lines, and I'm just seeing more progress burning them out then freezing them. Laughing Laughing

Let me know how you do burning them out. Laughing I really liked the ISC but afraid I did not use it long enough.

Beside my tried and true "AlphaDerma" I swear by my Facial Flex gismo for the nasal labial lines. It keeps my cheeks lifted. If my cheeks don't sag I have no NL lines. If that makes sense.... I have been using the Facial Flex for a few years. At my age I am paddling up hill but lord knows what I would look like without my weapons. Shock Laughing Laughing

I might have to try one of those facial flex things then. I've been doing my facial exercises religiously since the first, and I know that a lot of my NL lines are a direct result of losing fullness in my face. I can definitely tell a difference with the exercises, so I think the facial flex may get added.

I will keep you posted as to the burning out, though.

I only hope I paddle up hill as well as you do! You look amazing.
