Hi all. I purchased Skin Medica's TNS Lip Plump
System as a holiday treat. Usually, I wear gloss & don't care about plumping the lip[ region. I decided since no one had purchased it as EDS, I'd be the ginea pig. Keep in mind, I have no other lip plumping product experience. I did try one at a beauty store that burned my lips years ago.
The TNS Lip plumping system is two parts/glosses. The first has the nouricel in it & is to be put on & around the lip area. The second gloss is the plumper. It is to be put only on the immediate lip area. It kept my lips soft/moist for a few hours which was very cool. It also can go on alone or over lipstick. Part two tingled a little, but nothing remotely uncomfortable. It plumped my lips a tiny bit. I'm really not sure if I'll repurchase. I've read powerful raves about other lip plumpers here at EDS and may try one of those. Overall, I liked it but am not blown away. I wonder if the nouricel around the lips is good to prevent wrinkles. In that case, I may keep it up. |

Thanks C4ward - I always appreciate hearing about member experiences with lip plumpers..I don't think I've heard anything about this one before....It sounds pretty mediocre -was it expensive?...unless others come forward singing about it i'll stick with Lipfusion...Thanks for posting this!

I bought it and like it, it may take awhile to see long term effects since I think the nouricel takes awhile to work.I use it every night when I go to bed. |

Thank you for the review.
I have a bit of a lip obsession (along with a hair, eye, upper lip... ). |

Thanks for the review. I'd be interested to hear the longer term progress report.
I wonder what the ingredients are? It's great that it kept your lips soft for a while...
I'm impressed that using the lipfusion at night has made my lips much less in need of lipbalm during the day - and I'd love to have permanently hydrated lips without having to blow dry them every night a la lips2kiss system. |

Now I am tempted....but will be patient and wait to see the long-term effects or if anyone else has a review on it.
Thanks for posting. I love hearing what others think of new products!

Sorry. I don't have an ingredient list, but I know the first part has nouricel. |

I've tried the Lip Fusion and LF XL, but my favorite lip plumper is Sally Hansen's Lip Inflation. It's a gloss, and your lips will tingle when you put it on, but the good news is that it's only $4 something at CVS. If you know who Carekate is on this forum, she feels the same way about it as I do. She makes lip plumpers herself, and likes this one. I would say it does as least as well as Lip Fusion XL. Another product that really does something for my lips is Revlon Super Lustrous Lip gloss. It comes in a number of colors and I think by now I have almost all of them! Well those are a couple of plumpers you might try. You can't beat the price! ) |

Thanks Lefemme. The CVS brand sounds really good. I'm really wanting to try Lips2kiss. |

Update January 8th, 2006
I've decided I would not repurchase this system. My lips actually seem a bit dryer after using it. I do like the "taste" but am going to try the skinceuticals from other suggestions on the EDS board. |

I received my Skinceuticals from Ebay today. I see I'm only suppose to use it twice a day. Oh, I so need control! |

Day 2 skincueticals, I woke up without dry lips. Very cool. I finished the Step ! of the TNS lip system & I have to admit I was sad. It did have a very nice "taste " to it. |

dr oz just had a segment about the best products to use to avoid spending a ton of $ and going under the knife. he suggested to use the tns lip plump system AS MUCH as you can or want, during the day. he said it has a component in it that rebuilds and restores collagen. im gonna give it a try. |
