This came from my JM Rep and applies to their eyelash serum but I would think it applies to Revitalash as well.
I told her that a few people had complained of irritation from the JM serum and she said that most of the time when irritation occurs, people are globbing it on. So, and I think this has been discussed before, just put a thin line of Revitalash on and don't keep running the liner brush over and over the line. Put it on just before bedtime. Personally, I put it on after I take my mascara off which is a couple of hours before bed. I suppose the rationale for this is to avoid getting it in your eyes. But guys, I've missed my lid and touched my eyeball with the brush, and I got no irritation at all. Another thing she said was to not use it on the bottom lashes because it's not needed there. This may just be personal preference. I have been putting it on my bottom lashes but I think I'll stop although I would like denser lashes on the bottom. On second thought, I think I'll keep using it on the bottom. We'll all run out of it sooner, but oh well.
I've been using it for 5 days now and although I of course, don't see a difference, I can feel "something" going on with my top lashes. Not the bottom, which is odd I think. Did you guys who've been using it awhile, feel a funny sort of feeling going on with your lashes, or is it my imagination? I really don't think so though.

I would have to agree, that a little goes a looooooonnnnnnnngggg way! At first, when I applied my JM, I think I got it more on the lashes than the lash line, and I did have some irritation, but since I've been doing it correctly, it's fine.
BTW, I was wondering if it was only my wildly hopeful imagination, but even after 6 days of use, I can see a tiny difference. My lashes seem a little darker. Black, almost. I have Dark hair, but my lashes have always been medium brown. Hopefully this is the beginning of a beautiful (literally) relationship! |

You know, now that you mention it. The JM rep said the first change is darkening color. So I bet it's not your imagination. |

I'm glad someone spoke up about the darkening effect of lash serums. I thought I was just imagining it, too. But as someone with dark blonde hair and even blonder lashes, you can really tell something's happening.
Oh, I'm using Ardell, btw. And have learned to not let my lashes get sopping wet with the stuff -- Mr. Contacts doesn't like it. |

Basically, C --> DMAE --> HA
C - morning only
DMAE and HA - morning and evening |

Interesting about the darkening of lashes. I was using the Ecrinal and it worked well. My biggest difference to me is that I get my lashes tinted on a regular basis in a salon. When using the Ecrinal my lash tint lasted longer, a lot longer. This is a big deal to me as I have very very blonde lashes.
I am no longer able to find Ecrinal in my local SDM. I am thinking of trying just caster oil (applied with a clean disposal wand) as it the major ingredient in most lash serums. I will post results. |
