I read Carekate's review of the PAVES shine serum. I have been using the Pantene Pro V serum (oily looking) and I like how it helps to smooth out my hair and detangles it. Is the PAVES shine serum just adding shine to your hair, or will it help to smooth it out and detangles your hair like the Pantene one? I can't find the Pantene one anywhere any more.

The Paves one is great for shine. It is quite a thin consistence so might not be enough for you. I love the fact it has no cones in it but can deliver shine.

Thanks, Emma! I guess not too many people on EDS use Pantene serum. LOL How about comparing the PAVES shine serum to the Kerastase Oleo Relax serum? Is that more comparable?

You're welcome.

I wouldn't let pantene within an inch of my head again - not through product snobbery as I know people who swear by it - I tend to swear at it as it gave me really bad scalp problems.

I used the Kerastase one a long time ago - from memory I think the kerastase one is thicker than Paves.

I thought the Paves was horrible, it didnt add any shine to my hair and it made it flat and limp...returned mine after 3 or 4 uses. FYI I have fine hair but a lot of it.

I have rather sensitive scalp, too, and maybe I need to buy more expensive products. I'm trying the best bath store's shampoo and conditioner next, and Katee just posted about a site that sells SLS free shampoo.
