I tried an awesome spa today and had an organic facial and back facial. OMG, that was the best facial I have ever received, I just had to share. The spa was beautiful, and they used 2 organic product lines on me. Eminence Handmade Organic skin care from Hungary-- made entirely from certified organic fruits, vegetables and herbs. The sweet red rose cleanser smells absulutely divine, and the carrot vitamin masque smelled exactly like carrot cake. They also used Naturopathica, and sent me home with samples to try! Wow, my skin looked great after this facial. Normally after facials, I don't even want to leave the house because my face is red and blotchy from extractions. Not this time, I ran all my errands with not a stitch of makeup on. My pores were noticeably tighter and less visible. Loved it!! I can't wait for another one. Highly recommend these spa products for amazing results! |

Thoughtcrime, this is exactly what I am looking for from a facial: having not a red and blotchy face
Which spa did you go to?
And I was wondering if EDS offers something similar.
I go to a spa quite close to my place and usually in the evening because I don't want to run into someone I know with my blotchy pink face. I just want to go straight home without having to put on makeup. I don't like to put any makeup on after a facial. I want to enjoy my fresh and cleaned skin...but if it's not red I will be much happier
And the "back facial" sounds so wonderful. Was it helpful in soothing your back eczema, too. Hope you don't mind that I asked |

Hey babyfish,
this was the FIRST time I had a facial where I didn't feel self-conscious to go out in broad daylight. I agree I do not like to put makeup on after a facial (it defeats the purpose), so I always choose a day where I have no plans and can lounge at home. I went to a spa here in Michigan called Soulstice Therapeutic Wellness Spa, and the esthetician's name is Amy. She is wonderful and recommended the Kukui nut oil for my eczema which is almost gone! |
