Does this product make you peel? I have used it a few times (got some samples) and my skin seems really tight and dry with it. Is that normal? THANKS. |

I don't remember it making me peel (I was using it every second night), however, I always put either Hydracool over top or my regular moisturizer. Are you putting anything over top of it (moisturizer)? Or if you're using it every night ... maybe try every second night? Are you using any other strong actives with it at the same time? If so, you might be overdrying your skin. Just a couple thoughts. HTH! |

Even though this is my first AHA/BHA product, it has not made me peel. I use it every night. It does however make the area around a blemish peel when I apply a higher concentration. |

Although I have sensitive skin, it has never made me peel. I do use Hydracool over it. |

Are you using this every night or a few times a week? It might be best to use this either every other or every third night until your skin can build up a tolerance for it. I took it easy for about 3 weeks and now I can pretty much use it every night and I've never had any peeling. It sounds like you need a good moisuturizer on top of it to prevent your skin from becoming too dry. I don't use the hydracool, but I do use emu/ha on top along w/ my nighttime cream. |

It made me peel when I used it on consecutive days after about 4 or 5 days. If I skip a day or two in between, the problem is solved |

This is my first AHA/BHA product and I started using it every night right away, but it didn't make me peel or anything. I do use Hydracool over it. |

I now use it daily and it does not make my sensitive skin peel.

I use this every night and haven't experienced any peeling or dryness. I actually find the serum quite mild compared to other AHA products I've used in the past. |

Hi dollbird. I just recently started using the ISC line. I know you've got acne prone skin like me. What other products do you use in conjunction with the ISC active serum? Is there a reason you decided not to use the entire ISC line? The reason I ask is b/c I started breaking out w/cyst like acne. I'm not sure which product in the ISC line is causing it (active, super serum, hydracool, firming complex). I am going to try & stick it out for at least 2 weeks. I think maybe my skin is purging??
I think I remember reading that you also use the bbs acne serum? |

When I first started the IS active serum my skin did peel a little around my nose and chin area. After a few days the peeling stopped. I think you're supposed to reduce the dosage if too much peeling occurs. |

I have been using a sample of Active Serum. Only a little peeling around my nose area where I applied more. |
