Has any one used this brand before? It is an Australian brand.
I was intrigued and taken in by the claims on the box, and since it was on sale at Sears i decided to give it a try.
I used it for like 3 weeks, the cream was a nice moisturizer but I didn't notice any change in my complexion. Maybe I needed to use it longer. What I wanted was just to lighten some dark acne marks and hopefully make my skintone more uniform (my chin area is abit darker than the rest of my face).
The cream promises:
"Lighten skin and even out pigmentation trouble spots naturally.
A safe, fast and natural option for lightening facial pigmentation. This gentle cream gradually lightens the appearance of darker complexions with a soft, even, ivory finish. This lightening formulation is derived from naturally based ingredients and is effective for people of all nationalities and skin shades.
Also nourishes and improves the texture of skin exfoliating and replenishing for a glowing, porcelain complexion.
Dermabrite helps with age spots, sunspots, liver spots and can brighten darker skin tones.
Choose Dermabrite for results that are:
Fast
Although skin brightening with Dermabrite is a gentle, gradual process you can expect visible results in as little as 3 weeks!
Gentle
Unlike many similar products that contain hydroquinone, Dermabrite is gentle enough to use on the face as it contains naturally derived ingredients.
Flawless
Dermabrite has proven to give soft, even, radiant results. Enjoy a beautiful, flawless procelain complexion without foundations or cover-up creams.
I'm not patient enought to use it any longer, and I don't really want to lighten my whole skin, just the chin and acne marks, but its a pain to use this on those spots and my regular moisturizer everywhere else.
For those of you who are more patient than me, this might be a good option for you since it does not have any harsh chemicals in it.
Cost: $29.99 CDN at Sears, after a 30% discount. |

There was a thread about this a while ago and as I wrote then and now here - It is a dud. So sad, but it is true. I bought it for my mum to use and it has not helped. At least not so significantly that one can tell with the naked eye. |

I have tried several of their products over the years and never found one that worked. Some are ok as moisturisers but as far as active skin improvers, look elsewhere. |

I'm with Bushy. Big claims - small gains. |

Thanks!
Now I can toss it and not feel guilty that it may have worked.

Instead of tossing it away I decided to use it on my hands and feet- not bad.
