I got the same problem with applying oil on my lashes. Besides, I think one has to do it for a looooooong time to see results. |

Maybe it is how our eyes are built or how we may partially open them in our sleep? I just can't stand the feeling! I would agree it would take a good while to see results. |

This is the reason I refuse to even try it; I'd hate the feeling of a thick oil on my eyes, especially overnight. |

I saw almost instant results when I started using castor oil on my eyes. I wasn't expecting any difference, and remember looking in the mirror wondering why my lashes suddenly seemed so much fuller and darker, like only a dream mascara would do! They also seemed longer, but maybe they just looked that way since they were so much more conditioned. They were way more visible.
I also love what castor does for the skin around my eyes. Nothing else seems to give it that plumped, nourished look and feel. It seems far more resilient and able to take the handling and application of makeup and I worry less about makeup/products penetrating the delicate area.
There's no irritation or burning for me - so sad to hear its not the same for you guys! I find the thick oil stays put and does NOT run into my eyes the way other products do.
And I really feel like its protecting my delicate eye area if I should do "bad" things in my sleep like squish my face into the pillow or rub my eyes for some reason. Another odd thing is that I don't wake up with any "ooblik" in my eyes or crusted tears that you might get when you have a cold or something. Not sure how to explain that bit of magic!
Anyway, you might call me a bit of a fan. |

I am all for it if you have no issues with it Lori, it is great if it works for you or anyone!
I use it in my OCM blend and even clean my eyes with it, I just can't keep it out of my eyes if I apply prior to sleeping! |

It's good that you can clean your eyes with it! I'd imagine that still counts as application even if its not sitting and "soaking" in overnight. |

I have been using castor oil on my lashes before going to sleep. I also use carepost on my lashes as well. I have been using the carepost for a long time. The castor oil not so long. I have noticed that my lashes are now not only long but thicker too. I like the outcome. |
