I just happened to practice yoga right after applying my Vit C serum this morning (usually I practice yoga later in the day). Anyhow, I was hanging out in the downward dog pose and I could really feel the serum working on my face. Afterward I had an extra glow, and my face looked a little better than normal all day.
The downward dog pose is supposed to be wonderful for the face because it increases bloodflow to the area. The pose works like a headstand, but without any strain on the neck. Anyhow, I'm wondering if downward dog pose could boost the effectiveness of all actives. |

Hi Jeannine -
I teach yoga. I would say yes. You are increasing blood flow to your face in down dog. And if you are focusing on your breath, esp. if you practice ujaii pranayama -- you are warming your body from the inside. So you're also opening your pores, allowing the product to penetrate. |

I do yoga - i find it does make me look fresher in the face regardless of what creams i use. It just has that effect
I think you'd find you would have got the same result without the c. |

I do notice good effects whenever I do yoga (I've been practicing for years), but it was tenfold when I did it right after applying the C. I could actually feel the C working. I think Yogi is right in that opening the pores and increasing bloodflow enabled the product to penetrate better.
