MAC select SPF
MAC Studio fix fluid (but only for special occasions- has phenomenal coverage but causes me to break out if I wear it too often).
Lancome Dual Finish powder foundation (is a great on top of the MAC foundations as well)

I love Jane Iredale MMU for foundation. Both the pressed and loose work well for me -- change off depending on time of year. |

I used to love Laura Mercier oil-free foundation until I discovered La Prairie Caviar foundation. Maybe the colour of the foundation is a bit better, I'm not sure but it wowed me.
I might try Cle de Peau next but I am not in a hurry because it takes a long time to finish my current bottle. |

I love cle de peau.
It's expensive, but it has really good coverage and lasts long. |

Estee Lauder Double Wear. I love it that I don't have to touch up with this foundation all day. |

keli13,
I want to buy the double wear foundation- can you tell me more about it- how long it stays on, do you use the liquid or the powder, and if you use the liquid, what powder do you use on top. Have you had any reactions at all to it?
thanks

I usually don't wear foundation, but when I do I use Giorgio Armani. Jillian Anderson of "Good Day L.A." said it was her favorite on yesterday's show (2/19/07). |

Prescriptives Go Anywhere Powder Foundation. I just recently switched from Prescriptives Virtual Matte liquid foundation to this. It is really quick and convenient, lasts all day, provides good coverage, and seem to keep oil at bay, too. |

SK-II Airtouch definitely - I can't believe how good this makes my skin look. And it looks and feels like I have nothing on. |

Stella: I've read a lot of good reviews re: this new SK-II foundation. Way pricey, but hey! we're worth it!! I have some questions if you wouldn't mind sharing your exper w/me: What is the coverage like? Does it tend to settle in those crow's feet? How long is a bottle going to last? @over $100/bottle I would hope a good long time!! I HATE too pink foundations - what are the colors like? I love the SK-II line - their Facial Trx Essence is very effective in clarifying the skin - I used it with Retin-A and it peeled off several actinic keratoses that I had been fighting for years in no time at all. Eager to know more about your experience w/the foundation!!! |

I really like Kevyn Aucoin's products, also By Terry as well.
A great product (though expensive) is SKII's spray foundation, (airtouch), gives a nice, natural, beautiful finish. |

Hi,
Here is a link to a thread with two reviews (one is mine) of SKII Airtouch, hope that helps some.
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=18589&highlight=skii+airtouch
I ordered online at
http://www.bowlinghealthandbeauty.com/index.asp
so I only have experience with one color - BR6 which is luckily perfect for me. I do not have crows feet but it does not settle in my laugh lines or my giant pores, this is so much better than MMU which did settle in and accentuate lines and pores.
Coverage is dewy and very natural. A 30 second spray evens out my (sun damaged) skin tone beautifully. You can spray longer for heavier coverage, I have never needed to though. I don't know how long one refill lasts as I have not run out of my first packet yet.
hope that helped!
oh, edit to add that they sent along samples of the Facial Treatment Essence and I am liking that so far as well! |

Canadian Girl,
Estee Lauder Double Wear lasts me all day. Iv'e tried the liquid and the powder and I like the liquid better. I actually use a light dusting of Lumiere Mineral foundation as a powder on top. It makes my skin look flawless. This foundation works good for me because I don't have much of an opportunity to touch up my makeup at work. With this foundation I don't have to worry about it. I do use a primer underneath. I'm loving the new one from Philosophy, Supernatural Flawless Poreless with SPF 15. I also use SK-II airbrush foundation with the Lumiere on top sometimes, but the Estee Lauder is less expensive and I have to touch up more with the SK-II. I get oily in the T-zone. |
