I tried Everyday Minerals and it seemed to be too cakey. I just ordered samples of Alima (thanks to all of your raves) and I'm hoping that it works for me too! I was just wondering because I noticed a lot of people saying it's good for oily skin. I wouldn't say mine is oily except in the T-Zone, so I'm just curious? I just wanted to make sure my skin wasn't the reason it was cakey!
TIA,
Renee |

What formulation did you try? EM has different formulations for different skin types. Their original glo is better for dry/normal skins and their matte is best for oily. I think there could be a number of factors that could give you a cakey application as well - type of brush, moisturiser that is to heavy (or hasn't properly absorbed yet), etc HTH |

Have you tried liquid mineral foundation, you may find it better. |

Try Lumiere. She has 2 types of foundation, one is for dry/normal skin, and the other one is for combo/oily skin. I think the quality and the formula are better than EDM. Kim, the owner, offers sample kit that costs only $3 with free shipping.
Also, MMU can look cakey if it's too light, so maybe you just didn't find your right color match.
