I think you should get your basics right first. Use a Vit C serum in the day, and a retinoid at night. These are the proven anti-aging methods. After that, if you need additional hydration on top of those, find an eye cream that provides good hydration.

Is your skin sensitive? Bear in mind these products should be used full face for anti aging if your skin can tolerate them.

For Vit C, the popular serums are from Skinceuticals and SkinMedica. If you are new to Vit C, choose the lowest percentage and see how your skin responds. SkinMedica is 15% which might pretty high for a newcomer. Skinceuticals has an eye gel which has 5% ascorbic acid. I personally have problems tolerating AA.

Retinoids. My skin/eyes/everything! is very sensitive but surprisingly I have done very weel with Avene's Ystheal eye cream/gel. It's the lowest percentage Avene retinaldehyde product. You can order at Tubotica.com. I started out layering this OVER my normal eye cream to get my skin used to it. I did this for a few weeks. Now I put this straight on after cleansing, wait at least one hour, then put my normal eye cream over it for hydration since the Ystheal is not very moisturizing. After I finish my Ystheal I will move on up to a higher percentage. This has done wonders for my eye area and I will never stop.

I ordered a free sample of the Best Bath Store intensive eye treatment. I love it. You can check it out atwww.bestbathstore.com. I recommended my friends to order their free samples to try, too. You get up to 5 free samples and just pay $5 for s/h. I also got their dead sea facial scrub. It smells so good. I don't know if it does anything for my skin. Right now I'm in the experiment mode with my skin, and not sure what I am using that is helping my skin look better but something is working since my laugh lines have softened, and my eyes aren't looking tired any more. HTH
