I stopped by in Walgreen to buy Burt's Bee orange cleanser, but it looked like they discontinued to carry this line. I was out of a cleanser, so I desperately needed some until my internet order would arrive, and I ended up buying CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. The ingredients list didn't look bad, and I hoped it could work according the promises on a bottle.
I was so wrong. I used it twice, and this cleanser completely dried out my skin. I had never had so many dry flakes on my face before, and my skin felt like a sand paper on the next day.
I returned the cleanser to the store, but it took me about a week to rehabilitate my skin.
Ingredients: Purified Water, Glycerin, Behentrimonium Methosulfate & Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceramide 3, Ceramide 6-II, Ceramide 1, Hyaluronic Acid, Cholesterol, Polyoxyl 40 Stearate, Glyceryl Monostearate, Stearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate - 20, Potassium Phosphate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Cetyl Alcohol, Disodium EDTA, Phytosphingosine, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum |

The results for this is pretty unpredictable. It's very YMMV. Initially, this calmed my skin down and actually gave me a glow, but after a few days my cheeks got irritated and red. I gave the rest to my Mum, and her skin has improved ridiculously just using it. She looks like she had microdermabrasion done. Strange. |

I agree with you, it is strange. I expected it to be really good and not drying based on ingredients list. |
