Pros: - Doesn't have any trace of a scent or fragrance
- The packaging is really nice. I love that it comes in a pump. Just twist the top and the pump raises out and when your done you twist it the other way and the pump is hidden (nice for traveling).
- Can't feel it on
However- I was expecting a liquid foundation but it has more of a mouse makeup consitancy. This foundation settles my hunch that I pretty much hate all mouse makeup. I also have Cover Girl TruBlend Whipped Mouse and Avon Line Softening Mouse foundations sitting under my sink, both only used once. It is hard to put a finger on what exactly I hate about these foundations. One thing is, they all provide too little coverage for my needs and end up looking really shiney (maybe the silcone?)
The Laura Geller Phenomenal Foundation is the best out of the bunch though. It seems to accentuate pores and dry patches a lot less than the others. If I had almost perfect skin and needed just that extra little something, I think this foundation would be great.
We are all different because a girl on MUA had tried this and Clarins True Radiance and couldn't tell which one she liked the better. I have also tried the True Radiance and think it is beautiful and hands down better (even though I can't wear it because im too pale/oily).
Crossing my finger my Alima samples will suprise me because I'm starting to think no foundation will ever be able to stand up to my former HG. lol I can hear all my new foundations "Quit comparing me to Reflect! I'll never be Reflect! Nothing you can do can ever bring it back so get over it!!!". (Yeah I know, talking foundation is crazy ... but trying to find the perfect foundation is just about driving me crazy) |

I could never find the perfect foundation either.
Thank you for the review. |
