What would you say would be the best shampoo found in drugstores that would be healthy and still work well? |

I like Paves. You can get it a Walgreens. |

It depends which drugstore you go to. My local CVS store carries such "healthy" brands as Juice Beauty, Avalon Organics, Alba, Burt's Bee. The grocery store next to it carries even Dr. Hauschka and others. |

Enigma on the contrary theres lots of GOOD shampoos in the drugstore. Don't let that stop you. Good shampoos that don't build up on your hair are Suave, White Rain, VO5, Neutrogena. |

I'd definitely give my vote to Burt's Bees. It's found in most drugstores, and it's only a little more expensive than regular drugstore brands. (I like the Baby Bee shampoo ) |

I know the really cheapest of conditioners are generally free from sulphates and parabens and cones.
I havent seen any drugstore shampoos that are, though. |

Loreal makes a citrus shampoo that isn't bad, and anything Neutrogena is usually a good bet. |

Funny thing, I never would have guessed that Suave and VO5 were 'good' brands, but I use this to co-wash and my hair loves it. No cones it in and decent amount of protein if my hair needs it. |

I only use head and shoulders. It balanced the PH of your scalp, and leaves your skin normal, and hair very soft, shiney, healthy, and lovely Never dry, and not harsh at all! |

I've used Focus 21 products for years. When I first started using this line, I could only buy it in salons; imagine how pleased I was to see it in drugstore and grocery stores! I tried other "professional" products like Sorbie, Paul Mitchell, Nexus, KMS, Lanza, etc but always returned to my Focus 21.
Focus 21 is a truly good, water-soluable line stuff that doesn't weigh my hair down or contain any harsh ingredients. Since my hair runs very dry, however, I had to switch to a richer conditioner but these are the products I still keep in my arsenal!
Focus 21 Sea Plasma shampoo - I use this about once every two weeks to detoxify my hair [and to gently clean my makeup brushes!]
Sea Plasma Reconditioning Formula - I truly love this stuff, it's minty, stimulating - although it's not rich enough for my hair, I still like to use it once a week to stimulate my scalp and just because I love the smell!
Focus 21 Sea Plasma All Purpose Skin and Hair Moisturizer - I spritz this on after getting out of the shower everyday - It's a detangler and when I go to the beach, I always carry a bottle with me to cool off. I keep 2 bottles of this always!

My HG shampoo is Desert Essence Daily Replenishing Shampoo. Love this stuff! My hair has never been so shiny and soft!!! You can usually find it in the health care aisle. |

Is Trader Joe's qualified as a drugstore? They're a grocery store actually, and I love their Nourish Spa Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. It's only $2.49 per bottle, and it got great stuff in it. |

I've noticed that London Drugs now carries Lip Fusion, Strivectin, and Juice Beauty. |
