I received my parcel last weekend and this is my 2nd purchase from EDS. Thanks so much to EDS as I found like last purchase, I've got a number of free samples on Decleor products (even much more than the previous). I seldom buy this brand on my own coz in my impression, it usually comes with a strong smell (so-called "aromatherapy")and quite costly. Any recommendations under this brand?

I'm also wondering if I could have samples of other brands in my next purchase, like Valmont,Dr Hauschka, ect (though I have Caudalie and AlphaDerma, Declor's still the major). Very Happy

What samples do you have Tigercat? and what type of skin do you have?

I agree that some of Decleors products are just too well scented - like the body lotion fex. Others are simply to die for. It's been said again and again, but it can be said yet again Smile Neroli oil and essential baume are lovely, harmoniseing - both for skin and emotionally coz of the scent. I prefer the Harmonie face cream above any of the others (tried Hydra Floral and Nutri Delice)

I've used a few samples of Decleor creams, balms and oils and really like the way my skin looks after use. Only dip into my samples when my skin is extremely dry/flakey. However I have refrained from purchasing Decleor because they use sunflower oil, corn oil, bran oil, palm oil, hydrogenated vegetable oil and a number of complicated sounding ingredients (don't have the time to check everything out) in some of the products I've used. These days I prefer clean and simple and don't feel particularly good about slathering transfatty vegetable oil on my face.

Thanks to all for your sharing and recommendations! Sounds like everybody loves Decleor Smile

To answer Ruth - I have samples of Ultra Nourishing Cream, Iris Night Balm, Rose Night Balm, and their Aromessence (oil). My skin type is sensitive and dry, but feel a bit oily on top. Very Happy Which item could provide good moisture but doesn't give the feeling of sticky oily?

the night balm are to be used only at night (before going to bed). You need only a tiny amount (like a small pearl drop). warm it in your palms by rubbing your palms, then take a deep breath of the smell and then sweep your hands from the middle of the face and sweep it away from it.

the oil - you need only 2-3 drops on your fingertips. rub your fingers, smell and then dot all over your face and neck. Please look at their site to look up the pressure points where you can press your fingers. Then, layer it with a moisturiser.

I love Decleor. I have the Ylang Ylang oils and balm, Essential balm, Rose d' Orient oils and balm, Harmonie cream. Some of the creams I found to have too much fragrance for me to wear but the Harmonie cream and the Ultra Nourishing cream are fine.

I received some Decleor samples (mostly in Iris line) with my last EDS order. I was soooooo excited to try them out as I'd heard so many good things about Decleor products. Unfortunately, Decleor isn't for me. As soon as I put on my Iris Night Balm, my face turned red and I got little red dots (which looked like little red blood clots) all over my face. I went to rinse my face straight away, but the irritation didn't go away. Now a few days later, my skin is still flaky from it. Sad I was gonna purchase some Decleor for men products for my boyfriend, but because of the bad experience, I was put off by it.

My hubby likes Decleor for men... he has used the shaving cream, after-shave balm, aromessence oil (HE LOVES THIS), exfoliating cleanser, foaming cleanser and the only one he really did not like was the um.. SOS I think it is called.

I liked the Harmonie rose gel-lotion when I had it. I also loved the herbal clay mask. Rose balm was OK (but only had samples) but I could not get into those. I also had the firming eye gel once, but did not find it anything too special and did not repurchase.

Did you have burning feeling when applying it on your face? Have you sought doctor's advice?

That's awful Lynn! Can understand you've been put off the brand! you must have had an allergic reaction to one of the essential oils in the Iris mixture, which is meant for mature skin by the way - and you my dear don't have mature skin ... Hope you are feeling much better!

I'm guessing you don't have mature skin, so the Iris you could maybe give away or dump... Shock Laughing

If you've got the Rose oil and balm I'd get started on those, they fit your skin type as far as I can tell from your info. If I were you I would alternate... Evening 1, oil and thereafter balm, Morning 1, oil and preferred moisturizer, Evening 2, oil and Nutri Delice...etc...

For me the Nutri Delice is too rich for use dureing the day, it just isn't cold enough this year for me to need that... I like the Nutri Delice though.

Next time you order something from EDS, or if you go by a decleor counter, ask for samples of the Harmonie face cream. LOVE it! Soothing, moisturizing, lovely scent!

HTH Very Happy

Hey Ruth, I tried Rose oil and balm last night, it felt so good Razz , except that I forgot Vidisha's advice and might had put too much of the balm...a bit sticky feel hmm ...I'll try out a right portion tonight.

Yes, I'll ask for Harmonie face cream sample in next purchase, thanks!
