What do you think about this product? Do you use it on your face? Is it pore clogging?
Thanks. |

I have mainly been using LacSal in combination with CP's on my tummy, but I have used it on my face to spot treat. I haven't had any problems spot treating with it, but I'm not sure if it would be pore clogging if I used it on my entire face. I do like it for what I'm using it for, and I actually just placed an order for Exfol serum, since I think that one is more suited to my oily/combination facial skin. |

I just started using the serum (2nd week). I really like the scent. It spreads fine — not too thin, not too thick. However, I am thinking of getting something like Kiss my Face Peaches and Cream (8%) for my body. It's about $5 for 4 oz., whereas the LacSal cream at 10% is $17.95 for 2 oz.(I figure cream would be better on my body.) I would continue using the LacSal on my face, and I will reorder it. But it seems too expensive to use on my body. If anyone has any thoughts on this, I would love to hear them.
BTW, I haven't found the LacSal to clog my pores. I have combo skin. But there's 2 different kinds - cream and serum. HTH.
Laellis - I've been using it on my tummy, too. Are you using the cream? What do you think of it? |

It is the cream that I've been using on my tummy, along with TriRed, to reduce some stretch marks. I do like it, but now that you mentioned the Kiss my Face, I may look into that for the cost savings.
Since my last post I have received the Exfol serum and have been using it on my face for a week now. It is very light weight and non-irritating and I really like it. |

I've never tried the LacSal but have tried the Exfol serum and the Lactic Power 10. The first is a serum and the second a cream. I have oily skin and actually like the cream a lot. But, I will continue using a serum based one or alcohol based one (I have other brands as well) for my oily face and use the Lactic 10 on my body.
FYI - I put the Lactic 10 on OVER my CPs and could feel them going in better. At least that's what I thought was happening. I know Dr P has said that would happen and I did feel a tingeling going on. that's a good thing w/ my CPs!
If you are concerned about possible pore clogging going on, why not try the serum based Lacsal? they have both cream and serum available. Also - the Exfol is better for oily skin since it's a BHA product and the Lacsal is both AHA and BHA. |
