For those of u that are using La Roche Posay sunscreen with Mexoryl in it, I heard that it conflicts with the ingredients in ur mineral makeup such as Iron Oxide. Is that true? Now I'm concerned..... |

Never heard about this but then, I just started with MMU so I'm not an expert...
I ran a search on google - mexoryl and iron oxide come up together in articles that discuss different types of sunscreen but nowhere it is mentioned that these two are incompatible
By the way, what exactly do you mean by saying "they conflict"? What are the consequences of using both? |

i love sofina nuance up! it's a little drying but if you use it with moisturizer it's fine. i've been using it for a about a year (maybe a little longer) and my face has gotten lighter so it definitely works. i used to use LRP but it made me shiny. |

by conflict, I mean the sunscreen will lose its effect if u used it with MMU...I saw someone posted it up here b4... maybe should ask some experts here with more experience? |

Marie Veronique's Creme De Jour
Creme de Jour 25
A moisturizer/sunscreen that uses only natural
mineral sunblocks like zinc oxide and pearl
powder, combining them with anti-inflammatory
and skin-healing sunscreen agents like
raspberry seed oil and emu oil. Great for fair
skins with a tendency to rosacea and mature,
sun-damaged skins. A superior sunscreen
that is unique on the market. Note: Most
"natural" sunscreens do not contain zinc oxide,
so you are not getting full-spectrum UVA/UVB
protection.

the sofina nuance and lucent sunscreens are not sunscreens at all, so they will be drying on most people i imagine if they don't use a moisturizer underneath. same for sunkiller. i think sofina has a sunscreen called "rise" that is a moisturizer plus sunscreen. |

tl, thanks for posting that link. The SPF25 item sounds great with nice ingredients. I am going to check for other online reviews, too; I haven't seen anything at all about this line before. |
