Does anyone know how to keep new hair growth from sticking up? |

Maybe a nice hair pommade or hair oil? Or even some light gel? All depends on your hair type and what products you can use. Why don't you tell us more about your hair type (thick, dry, fine, oily, etc) and I'm sure you'll get lots of suggestions. |

What a lovely "problem" to have, huh? Salli, my hair is baby fine and I haven't found anything to make it lay flat until it gets to be at least 1 3/4" long.
If you come across something that won't weigh my fine thin hair down, please do post!

Me too - that is the problem with my hair. Ari - I'm thinking of getting the John masters - either pomade or retexturizer - I'll post how I go with it. |

Well my hair is like fine cat fuzz. I acquiesed to hairspray to flatten it. Yes, this is a good problem, it's coming back. It sure is going to look strange until it grows some more. |

One idea I read recently was to spray some hairspray onto your brush or a tissue and use that to control the fly ways. |

I hate to use hairspray, but for those new hairs that stick straight up that's the only thing that works for me. |

Do you spray it directly onto the hair or onto a brush? |

I'll spray it directly onto my hair and then smooth it down with a brush while I aim the blowdryer at it -- seems to work the best that way. |
