yay!
okay, La vie is the most generous person EVER...! She encouraged me to play with all of her colors, and I must say that the IQ eye sheers are all they are cracked up to be. They are similar in concept and design to the Julie Hewitt shimmies, but the particles are much finer and in my opinion, that makes the IQ superior! I LOVED the seventeen... just gorgeous. yogi, your pictures of the colors ring very true to me.
I had so much fun meeting Lavie today Hopefully we will have many more rendez-vous sharing our mutual love for red lipsticks and kasha varnishkas!

Yogi,
How many eye shimmers does IQ have? So whats on the website is only a few of what she actually offers? I should of had my package from IQ today but the d*mn blizzard here has slowed down the mail.

She doesn't have all the colors on her web site. Although I'm sure she would send them if you knew the colors. There are about 10? Maybe? I'll see if the store lets me take pic's of the others. Or maybe I'll have to buy them all
BTW, when you get your tint, really play around with it. You only use a teensy amount. Sometimes I use it in some areas, concealer in others. Sometimes I mix a little w/liquid foundation. I hope you like it! |

Thanks Yogi. Once I get my package I'll email F and ask her. What sold me on her product was the description she gave me regarding the fact that there is only one color to the TM. She put it so beautifully I HAD to try it. LOL. Whose the sucker?

I'm the palest chick in the world, and usually if I use anything with color it looks really fake. This just gives a nice glow -- as long as you don't over do it. But I'm sure if you have any question or problem with application, she'll be more then happy to help you. |

My IQ package came today and I'm in love with this TM. It is absolutely perfect for me. Thanks so much Yogi for the recommendation. I'm going to email Frederique and have her choose some eye glows for me.

out of curiousity, what did she say to you? i just put some on my hand, and the tint looked a bit yellowish which is a big no-no on my skin, but the finish was lovely. i did not have time to try it on my face, but i was disappointed that there was only one colour.... i'm also curious if anybody who's acne prone has tried this.
did you get anything else???
yogi -- is there an eyeglow in a rich (but not warm) brown? have a feeling i will go mad with these when i play with you in l.a. in april!
avalange -- a warning. my mom was mortified at the thought of cooking the kasha without eggs so i used them. my god! they at least quadrupled in size. i made enough to feed my entire arrondissement!!! i think i have solved world hunger.... |

There is a deep brown that will look gorgeous on you. And with the tint, you use so little. I probably use a much as a small pygmy pea for my whole face. |

La Vie,
Below is what Fredericke wrote to me regarding my questioning the one color fits all.
i am always using the example of a dry stone ..
if a stone is dry one cannot see its own color , but after pouring
water on it, the stone comes to life and all its colors will radiate.
so no worries about color matching etc...
it will enhance and bring out & deepen your beautiful color naturally
, the effect is as you just had a walk on the beach.
your skin will look like you just got an oxygen boost and it protects
with spf 15
Like I said, bit of a sucker for anything slightly poetic. LOL.
For those of you who have the eyeglow 4 *coppery*, she's recommended it for me but I'm feeling a little doubtful. What do you think?

i think Four would look great, really natural on you. if you want to add a bit more intensity (i.e., true copper) -- get Eight as well.
and thank you for the blurb on the tint. i am now lemming it, sigh, along with the deep brown eyeglow.... |

LaVie -- April seems so far away! But we will have fun finger painting....
BluesHeart -- I think my coloring is similar to yours. So far her advice to me has been really good. I think if you're going for one, it depends what you feel you'd get the most use from. Four is great, really light, I'm trying to picture the copper - I'm sure it's great. And there's the six, a brown, bronzy, gold. My fav. So many choices!! |

BluesHeart -- go with yogi's suggestion of Six, but make sure you get another lighter shade like Four or Seventeen to play with as well. the eyeglows are just too much fun to play with, how they layer and mix, etc., that you just can't miss the opputunity for fun.
yogi -- i know! i want to fly and play right now!!! |
