I am on a banana chip kick right now. DH picks them up at the health food store. They are lightly sweetened and I'm afraid that I am going to regret liking them so much when I get on the scale. What's your favorite dried fruit?

Ooh banana chips are lovely .... must get some of them soon Razz

I love raisins in yoghurt and just plain raisins, really. They're great with a lot of things.

Smile Mmmmmmm I love dried fruits. I'd have to say my favourites are dried figs, then apricots, raisins, and prunes. I've never much cared for dates - don't know why. I love making my own trail mix blend with dried fruits, banana chips, coconut flakes and then a blend of nuts and seeds. Yummy in the tummy! Very Happy Just make sure not to have too many at one sitting like I once did. I gorged myself a little to much and ended up having the most painful gas! Shock LOL Not pleasant. But they make for a great snack and great energy boost - in moderation.

I love raisins, but my dermatologist told me that dried fruit had too high a glycemic load (turned to sugar in the blood stream too quickly) and was not good for my skin Sad

I love dried mango!! Drool It's my staple snack. I figure it's healthier than snacking on candy, while still fueling my sweet tooth!.

I love all dried fruit, a lot. But dried mango just is impossible for me, I have to eat it all till it's totally, utterly, definitely ALL gone.

Then I feel a bit ill.

So I dont do it again for a ( little ) while.

Cranberries and pineapple. The cafeteria where I work has a great trail mix with dried cranberries rather than raisins. I like the dried fruit and nuts together (and of course the chocolate).

Wow! There are a lot of dried mango lovers here! Very Happy I'm finding that it is difficult to find in my local stores -- does anyone know of an online site with good mango?

white figs.. not those huge things.. but the little white figs that are hard on the outside and soft inside .. great on their own, with cheese, but are to DIE for when marinated in port wine and turned into a sauce for ice-cream.

Next on the list is Mango, but only certain brands and countries.

god, we are fussy!

Mango, cranberry, cherry, dates.

My parents were just down to visit and brought me a sack of goodies from Trader Joe's. All my favorite dried fruits, walnuts, almonds, raw pumpkin seeds and 2 huge Pound Plus bars of bittersweet chocolate that we cracked with a hammer and nibbled with bits of dried fruit and nuts. Heaven!
