I've seen some really positive reviews for both of these vitamin c serums and am having a hard time deciding which one to try.

Has anyone tried both of these that could compare the results you've seen from each of them?

Is one better than the other for oily, acne-prone skin?

I've been a faithful user of l-ascorbic acid c serums for years, but the great reviews of these products that use other forms of vitamin c has made me want to give something else a try.

Hey Jwils~ I can't speak to the comparison of the two lines...but I plan on trying a Candessense C too, and below is info. they sent sent me regarding two of there C serums. hth

Quote:
The Triple C is a "higher octane" C-serum by virtue of
the combo of the "3 C's". That is, you get the
standard effects of a traditional C serum (neutralizing
free radicals, photoprotection and increased collagen
synthesis); however, results are enhanced and can
happen more quickly than with a "single C" because the
3 C's work in concert.

As for the C/E/Ferulic Serum...the Alpha Tocopherol
(E)and Ferulic Acid also neutralize free radicals and
offer photoprotection just as C does. However, they
also introduce healing and anti-inflamatory properties
into the mix. So, this is a good "all in one" serum if
you are trying to keep your product useage to a minimum.

You can use both C serums together with no problem, but
you would most likely do just fine with one of them.

I've used SkinMedica Vit C complex for few months and really love it.
My skin looks clearer and brighter and my makeup goes smoothly after use.

I think Marina uses the SkinMedica. I don't know if she's tried Candy's Triple C.
