I have to say I am not really surprised after hearing about this today. Every time I saw that woman being interviewed she sounded completely incoherent, like she was incessantly drugged up. I wonder if she died from an overdose. Time will tell. I don't know if it was Stern's influence on her or what, but something about that guy really bugs me. He just look suspiscious to me. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the cause to all this just to get her settlement - he seems like that kind of guy to me. Just creeps me out every time I see him on TV. I wonder what the new reports will have to say after this case is looked into. |

I was shocked and saddened to hear this news. I know she had so many hard issues to deal with recently. I hope she is at peace now, and that her daughter be okay. |

Maybe now she'll be at peace. It certainly seemed like her whole life here on earth was one train wreck after another.

Very sad indeed
What a tormented life she's had - she's now with her son and I really hope that her daughter won't be part of a media circus for the rest of her life. |

I feel so bad for her daughter. I agree with everyone about thinking Stern is a little off here.
Didn't she idolize Marilyn Monroe who also died young of an overdose or something? I mean she did just have a daughter so she could have PPD and her son just died too. I don't know. It is pretty horrible. |

I once dated a guy who was her personal trainer and close friend, and I heard from him how she really lost her weight. I thought at the time that it could not have been good, and she might die young. |
I have to ask...how did she really lose all that weight?? |

i feel bad for her. This past little while she has been having a really rough time. Her son died, and she gave birth to a new baby who she is battling who the father of the baby is. The media is making it 10 times worse for her, constantly putting her life in the spotlight. I do think she over dosed on some sort of drug in her hotel room. |

Just seen this on the News and was really shocked, very sad.
What's worse is that they've even made it public knowledge the Hotel and room number she died it, which is a bit tacky.
Yes she idolised Marilyn Monroe and look what happened to her. |

news.com.au is reporting that some sicko filmed the paramedics trying to revive her and have sold the tape to an unknown bidder...
OK, now THAT is really sad (I dont mean sad as in "boo hoo", just sad as in pathetic) |

Very said to hear about Anna Nicole Smith. I had watched her TV show when it was on and it seemed to me she was on a path to destruction. Like others said, she appeared to have been intoxicated by drugs or alcohol every time she was interviewed by the press. I feel badly for her new baby girl. I wonder who is going to take care of her, and I guess they still don't know who the father is? |

I don't think there was any way TO help Anna Nicole Smith... and as much as everyone says he should have helped her, they were probably enjoying whatever bad activity they were doing together... the fact is she was into drugs, which is not definitely but most likely an accomplice if not total cause to her deaht.
I feel bad for Anna Nicole Smith to an extent. But at the same time, she shouldn't have been so selfish to bring another life into the world if she was only going to keep abusing herself. Yes, she needed help, but there is a point where you should/should have taken self responsibility and made the right choices. No?

I agree. Howard only had one "client" and that was Anna. If he was truly an active laywer, wouldn't he have had more clients and an office? |
Maybe he thought if he kept her drugged up, he could get more of her settlement (whenever it was settled).....perhaps thats why all the weirdness over the paternity test. He would have been entitled to more $$ if the baby was "his" and they were married.
I hate to assume anything about ANYONE but, if you really love someone you dont let them destroy themselves on any level. |
I agree 100%. If there is any destructive behavior, then he should have stepped in as a loving (boyfriend) husband he's suppose to be. |
Agree with all of you. Turning a blind eye to destructive behaviour is not what a loving partner does. |
Thinking about that just makes me angry! How can you just stand there and watch the person you truly love suffer, and not do anything? It would break my heart to see anyone I care for hurt. |
Agree. It's sad. |

I wrote this over on the Celebrity gossip thread, what does everyone else think?:

The first words out of my mom’s mouth when she heard the news was, “I think Anna committed suicide because she’s reached the end of the line about dodging the paternity tests and she didn’t want to be around when the world found out that”....wait for it...”DANIEL is actually the father of her baby girl!”
I can’t help but wonder if my mom is right because, thinking back on it, ANS always acted WAY too sexual with her son, making suggestive remarks (“Daniel, honey, I haven’t masturbated in two weeks, could you go down to the store and buy me some batteries....”).
The one thing I *do* know for sure is that Howard is NOT that baby’s father and I hope that someone will intervene and give that child to someone that will give Dannielyn half a chance to grow up normal. |
I dont know....I think that Howard killed her. I think he also kept her drugged up for all these years to keep her mind fuzzy. I think that he also killed her son. I think he wanted her money but knew her son was next in line to get it if she was gone, soooooooo get her son out of the way...claim the baby was his, MARRY her (Im assuming to show his devotion to her?). It seems very weird she died right before the paternity test and that he is now upset that there will still be one. Bottomline if he has the baby he gets EVERYTHING. This guy is a total slimy, creep....just wait, I think that this will all unfold soon.

Poor baby, that's soo sad Life will not be easy without a mother. The sad thing is that the media always showed the bad side of Anna.
It feels so strange, first her son and no death reason and now Anna. I think she has been murdered and someone made it look like an overdose.
A very sad ending. |

It's the baby I feel sorry for. Hopefully she'll end up in a home where she can grow up anonymously and not in her mother's shadow. I don't think Howard would be a good single parent. (If he is the father.) |
