TMZ has obtained a photo of the inside of Anna Nicole Smith's refrigerator taken after she died, and the contents are shocking on several levels. TMZ has 100% verified the authenticity of this photo.
The refrigerator, which was inside Anna Nicole's bedroom in the Bahamas, contained methadone (5 mg per 5 ml). The small refrigerator contained cans of Slim-Fast-- ironic, since Smith was TRIMSPA's spokesperson. Several bottles of TRIMSPA sat right next to the fridge.
The fridge also contained Miracle 2000 (marketed as a nutritional supplement for "today's active lifestyle"), French's Worcestershire Sauce, yogurt and spray butter. It also appears there are vials of injectable medicines.
The methadone is compelling, as Smith's son Daniel died from a combination of drugs that included methadone. Law enforcement sources in the Bahamas tell TMZ that at least one witness has come forward and said Howard K. Stern supplied Daniel with methadone just before he died, and flushed the remaining stash down the toilet. That witness is expected to testify next month at the coroner's inquest into Daniel's death.
Now Stern is placed in the same home with another stash of methadone -- the home he shared with Smith.
TMZ has confirmed that law enforcement in the Bahamas is aware of the contents of the refrigerator. |
This story gets sadder and sadder by the moment. |

| That is very sad. The CNN link said that they are looking into her computer for clues, such as a diary, etc. I still think that somehow Stern is behind all of this. |

Maybe I missed it but they haven't said what she died of yet right? If so, then I'm confused why they have buried her already? If they're unsure, don't they keep the body for more tests? That's what they do over here in the UK.
Also what is the latest with who the father is? Have they done paternity tests yet? |

The death certificate states that the cause is still pending. As for the paternity results they say they haven't completed the testing yet. I'm not sure if they have even started. |

I read that Howard K. Stern had admitted that he wasn't the father and was trying to broker a deal with Larry Birkhead that he'd turn over the baby if he (Howard) got all of ANS's estate.
Larry said no deal...so they're heading to court.
If true...Howard K. Stern is one disgusting, low human being.

| No...you're right...they've not done the paternity testing...but LB has been saying all along that HKS never had a sexual relationship with ANS, and therefore could not be the father. That would still leave three possibilities....LB, deceased husband, and Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband who claims to possibly be the father. |

chloral hydrate
I was given that stuff when I had bronchitis and couldn't sleep because of all the coughing. I literally slept for hours then woke up with the worst headache of my life. I just can't understand how people end up on huge amounts of perscription medications but know that it can't just happen overnight. |

Unfortunately, she had gotten herself so used to those drugs in her system that she needed them to function. She couldn't have stopped them cold turkey...I don't think. She had to have been weened off of this stuff slowly. It is sad. She never cared about herself enough to look at life from her own eyes. I mean that she always had the influence of the drugs in her system, and what kind of life was that? |

I tell you one thing...Howard K. Stern is way too shady to be innocent of any wrongdoing in this. He happened to leave the hotel room right before she died. He knew she was taking all those medications...he's claiming to be the executer of her will...etc.
A lot of people are saying he's shady!  |

| The cop in me rises up, and screams, two dead bodies, both overdoses............hmmmmmmmmmmm one person in both rooms!!!!! One has 105 fever but says I don't want to go to hospital, now having had 105 fever before, trust me when I say, you CAN NOT, make your own decisions, you CAN NOT think right at all! I personally think, they aren't sure what the hell happened, just can't prove anything other than she had way too much sleeping medicine in her! |

There's a HUGE number of drug addicts out there. Most of them, of course, aren't famous. If her death makes us empathize with others who suffer from that nasty disease, (and their loved ones) perhaps it has some meaning. |

Let me add:
Most of them aren't famous, or beautiful, or perceived as victims...
Not that I'd trust a drug addict with a dime. I wouldn't. But I still know it's a dreadful disease that changes one's brain chemistry.
And I don't think methadone is usually prescribed for pain these days. Often a privileged person's way around having to go to a clinic. |

It can be prescribed for pain. I have a chronic pain condition...my pain specialist told me that methadone is my last resort before surgery...though I might just go straight to the surgery route... |

Yes, it can be. Otherwise she (or anyone) couldn't get it. Just saying it's not usually prescribed that way. (NOTHING to do with your situation. And I'm sorry you're in pain). Methadone is more often used by opiate addicts. Yet famous ones are averse to going to public clinics, the only place you can get it for that purpose in the US. Sometimes the privilged get around this by getting doctors to prescribe it as a "pain med."
Really it's absurd addicts can't go to private docs for it. Drug * spam alert * really is a disease. But that's the law in the US. So the few that can, try to get around the methadone law.
That's all.
Yes it can be legitmately prescribed by a private doc for pain. |
