I've never tried Bare escentuals before but always wanted to. I'm trying to order bare escentuals from sephora however since I've never tried it, I dont know which color to get. I use NC35 in MAC Studio fix powder foundation. |

I wore NC20 in MAC and in BE, the Fairly Light was just a bit too dark. Light may be your color, but you may end up needing to add a bit of Fairly Light if it's too dark. |

I would suggest buying the starter kit...it has a couple colors in it so you can blend to get the right color.
I'm NW20 Mac and I wear fairly light....Light was too yellow. |

Im not too sure what you mean, but I can tell you that you can't judge a color by just looking at it in the jar. You have to have it on your face to tell if it's right for you. |

I agree with getting a starter kit with a couple different colors. Normally I would wear light in liquid foundation but I wear a medium in bare escentials. |

I think the starter kits are expensive, especially since the brushes and colors don't always live up to expectations. I had better luck trying BE by getting samples on eBay. But I've heard that BE is cracking down on the sale of samples; I don't know if this impacts eBay sellers or not. I just find that a sample size gives me enough to try several times without the cost commitment of the larger sizes. |

You may want to try samples of Alima and Lumiere too. They are well priced and lots of colors. Good thing is that the samples won't break your bank. Tried BE but it made me break out and oily! |
