Another vote for Lancome Hypnose or Fatale, or even using them both together. |

I love Lancome Mascara's. I've tried Hypnose, flexticils, and L'extreme.
My favourite is Flexticils.. it is really nice for lengthening and a bit of curl.
Hypnose is great for volumizing
However i already have thick lashes, i am mainly looking for lengthening and curling. |

Let us know what you like! Right now I like the Rimmel, I use the Eye Magnifier first, then if I feel like getting even bigger lashes I add the one with Lycra in it. I also like the Lancome Defincils, but I hate going to the mall, Walgreens is closer |

Try L'Oreal Volume Shocking Mascara. It's cheap and it really adds volume. Only downside is that it's SOOOOO hard to remove so it's probably not good to use everyday as you'll end up rubbing and tugging at your eyes. |
I can reove L'Oreal Volume Shocking with any effective eye makeup remover. I don't tug on my eyes to remove it. But, I don't think its a good everyday mascara as the effect is pretty dramatic. |

Ouch! I hate waterproof mascara that involves pulling and tugging to remove! |

Hmmm...I've tried removing it with Lancome Bi-Facil, Chanel Bi-Phase, Helena Rubinstein (I don't remember the product name), Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil, L'Oreal Gentle Eye and Lip Makeup Remover, and Boots Botanics and I've always had to tug and rub at my eyes. Plus I only wear one coat of mascara (well, one coat of white and one of black from L'Oreal Volume Shocking). It's probably not a suitable everyday mascara, but I love the dramatic drag queen thick eyelashes. |

I love SASA.com!! Free shipping is great.
They sell the Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara at sasa for only $12.60, meanwhile, Sephora sells for $22. Big difference. |

That's hard core! I've tried it before and I got several compliments on my eyes that day. However, the application took like 30-40 mins so I've never tried it again. How do you apply them? |

I used Fatale, but it was just a gloopy mess for me, I am starting to think that my mascara application techniques are different from others. I do one eye, then the other, then back and forth without really waiting between coats. Should you actually wait longer between coats? What does everyone else do? |

I have been trying several mascaras over the past few weeks and the ones worth mentioning are: Dejavu Fiberwig, Max Factor 2000 Calorie, Dior Blackout, Maybelline FullnSoft - just my opinion as I have been on a search for mascara for my short, sparse, straight lashes ...
-Dejavu does lengthen, does not clump or smudge or flake but does not add a lot of volume. It does feel light while on and not heavy.
-Max Factor 2000 adds volume, length, does not smudge or flake. Lashes stay curled but was a little dry and stiff. I felt as though I had mascara on - it was on the heavier side.
-Dior Blackout adds volume, length, smudges a bit but lasts for a long time and feels light - does not feel as dry as the Max Factor.
-Maybelline FullnSoft adds volume, length and lashes are soft but tends smudge after awhile.
I haven't yet decided which I prefer the most for everyday wear but due to the price, the dior one is definitely more for going out lashes. |

My lashes are reasonably long but not terribly thick, and I've had good results with Dr. Hauschka's mascara. Also, Dr. H is supposed to be releasing its new volume mascara soon (it's already available via the European sites, but I'm not seeing on the US site just yet), and I'm hoping it adds even more volume than the present formulation. |

I always LOVE Lancome Definicils right after I buy a fresh tube, but then its clumpy and yucky after several weeks and I wonder why I ever liked it so much. L'Oreals Volumninous Mascara with the curved brush gets my vote. Cheap and last a good long while before getting to the clumpy stage! |

I was really loving the Rimmel Lycra mascara, but their new MAGNIFIER EYE OPENING mascara is even better...it tops all the Lancome and the the Dior show mascaras!! |

I love Dejavu Fiberwig too! It lengthens and does not smudge. One thing I really like about it is that it can be removed with warm water, so I can easily clean it during shower. |

I've tried several mascaras this past year. Here's my results:
Blinc Kiss Me Mascara: Works well, looks natural, and lasts all day with no smudging, but a pain to remove. No matter how gentle and careful I am, I always manage to pull out a lash or two. When it gets old and goes bad (after 3 months for me), it goes REALLY bad and is unusuable (one big glob).
Rimmel Lash Extension Vinyl Wear (not sure about the full name anymore): At first, I loved this mascara! It gave length and volume, was a glossy rich black, and no raccoon eyes. Unfortunately, I realized after using it for about 6 weeks that it was really damaging my lashes. They were becoming dry and brittle and were starting to fall out. Yikes!
Almay One Coat Mascara: I like this. It's not awesome with regard to length, volume, and glossy black pigment, but it is good, and it is gentle on lashes. My lashes stay healthy and lush when I am using this.
Clinique Glossy Mascara: I keep coming back to this one and have for 10 years or more. It doesn't give a false lash effect, but it does lengthen and leave lashes looking a healthy, natural, glossy black. Smudging is minimized, and lashes stay healthy. It's a great daytime mascara.
Jane Iredale Mascara: I'm not too thrilled with this one. It's highly pigmented, but a little irritating, a little clumpy, a little dull, a little smudgy, etc. It's also very expensive.
Fresh Supernova Mascara: Exact same impression as with the Jane Iredale. Fresh is more clumpy though. |

My vote is Lancome's Hypnose! Great for volume! I've tried Flextensils as well but it's drier than Hypnose, harder to comb through. |
