I hope this review is supposed to be here
I must say I've never been so in love with any perfume before this on the first whiff. I only smelt this once in a magazine ad and proceeded to order a 2.5oz bottle without really being sure whether it would smell different than in the mag ( as it normally does). My gamble paid off. I do hate the bottle because it does look extremely old fashioned - it makes it seem like this perfume is targeted towards an older crowd. However the thing that got me about this perfume is this - I've always looked for a perfume that reminds me of the heaven you're in when you first fall in love. I've spent thousands of dollars on perfume and I think I've finally found it, as cheesy as it sounds. I'm no expert and I can't even analyse the "notes" and whatever but this perfume takes me away to another world when I first spray it on. These are the things it reminds me of : summer, a very lush garden, falling in love so hard you feel like you're floating, anticipation, possibilities, hope. I'm seriously in love. |

Wow FaithTruth....Estee Lauder should seriously hire you to promote the perfume, or at least give you royalty rights so they can use your description of how it smells. What a simply lovely review. The next time I'm at the mall, I'm going to have to stop at the Lauder counter and check it out.
I am so glad you love it so much!

Faith Truth,
Can you describe a little what it smells like? Mostly floral? or citrus? Woody? Oriental?
Thanks. |

Here's the description from Estee Lauder. It does have a very slight hint of the original Beautiful when it wears off.
Lush Magnolia Blossom, rich White Jasmine, Mango Mist, Heliotrope and Vetiver release an emotional rush like the feeling of new love.
Fragrance Type: Romantic Floral
VIBRANT
Top Notes: Open-air florals with fresh wet accents excite the senses with the possibility of love.
• Fields of Magnolia, White Freesia and Marigold send signals of love.
• Radiant Mango Mist, watery Cantaloupe and sheer White Pomelo Zest create heart-racing effervescence.
• Wet Ivy Leaves and Pink Pepper add vibrancy, a feeling of pure exhilaration.
ROMANTIC
Heart: A gorgeous bouquet of lush white flowers seduces the senses with voluptuous allure.
• Jasmine, Tuberose and Tahitian Tiare portray sensual femininity.
• Tantalizing Rose, Osmanthus, Carnation and Black Violet add sophisticated drama.
PASSIONATE
Base Notes: Warm rich woods and a sumptuous creaminess ignite the senses and deepen the passion.
• Heliotrope, Vetiver, White Orrisand a luscious Whipped Cream accord evoke pure passion.
• Sandalwood, White Moss, and a hint of Patchouli embrace the floral bouquet, creating great depth. |
