I decided to post a quick thread about this because the other epilation thread got so much attention, that I thought maybe people would want to see a review. anyhoo, this is a mini epilator for face and small areas, and I have to say, it's pretty great. It's only $15, and while it doesn't do quite as good of a job as waxing, it's certainly more convenient. Pain factor is not so bad -- I actually just did the ol' bikini line without too many squeals. I'm definitely inspired to get a big one for my legs.
You can get it at drugstore.com, fyi |

Thanks for the review. I wonder if a regular epilator can do the same job? I mean for facial hair and stuff.. |

I bet it could, but just ordered this one mainly because it was cheap, and also, if I decide I want to do some hard-to-reach-areas *ahem* I think small would be easier to manage.
I just ordered a Braun full size too though, so I'll report back. |

I got the 3170 because it was $40 and had a few pages of near 5 star reviews. Honestly, I don't think I need all the extras that come with the fancier ones. That stupid little $15 one I reviewed did an amazing job on my bikini line, so I really only got the big one for my legs, which I don't think will hurt at all -- so I didn't want to spend the extra money on numbing bits and rollers or whatever.
I'm such a convert in 2 days, I swear. It's just like someone said on the other thread, I see a hair and I get all excited to whip out my machine. It's just so awesome that for the price of one brazilian wax I can do it all over and over again. plus you don't have to put up with the awkward hairy week while you're waiting to get in for your waxing appointment! |

LOL. Yes. The little one for Emjoi would be great for travelling though. |
