Though our site is focused mainly on skincare, I have a shopping-tip to pass on to all of you fair-skinned, rosy ladies out there (like myself)!

I maintain that there are good bargains to be had in the cosmetic world, and dept. store make-up isn't always a best buy. I've found the ULTIMATE rosy blush for the best flushed, pinched-cheeks look. It is by the Canadian cosmetic company Annabelle, and it's colour is "#2" (no name). I am asked about my blush A LOT ... for about the tenth time this weekend, so I am posting it for everyone to know. It was about $5.50 at London Drugs here in Vancouver; it can also be found at Shoppers Drug Mart, Zellers, and Walmart in Canada. For others outside of Canada, I am sure that there MUST be a website for the company, or you can log-on to Shoppers Drug Mart's website.

Bottom line: I LOVE THIS BLUSH, and will never pay more again! So there you have it.Very Happy

Thank you for telling us about this product. I purchased this blush on your recommendation and just love it. I have been using the same color blush for years and years. It was time for a change but it was your enthusiasm for this product that made me wake up and finally try some new colors. Thank you!

Oops, I didn't realize it was THAT old.

It seems Marcelle bougth Annabelle? Or they're the same company. Anyways I think I've seen the Annabelle line around, however Marcelle is the only website I could find. http://www.marcelle.com/English/makeUp/productsSubCategory.cfm?cCat_id=1&cSubCat_id=29

could you please explain what "bump" means when someone uses that term. I am barely computer literate and not familiar with that term. Someone thanked you but was wondering what the change was as a result of the word "bump". thanks so much.

A 'bump' is a way to bring a topic/thread back to the top of the list so more will see it & hopefully respond. By posting on this old thread the poster 'bumped' it back to the most current thread. Like now, once I post this thread it gets 'bumped' right back to the top of the list of topics for the day.

Welcome BTW!!

I looked for this today too at London Drugs and couldn't find it. Maybe it's since been discontinued. Sad I did buy a new really pretty blush at MAC the other day. I wanted something really light pink ... for a nice pink flush (I'm really pale). I ended up buying their powder blush in "Well Dressed". I think it will be my new favourite for a while. Smile

darn it, they don't carry it anymore!
There were other numbers blushes there, #38 to #47 I think, but not number 2. Is there any other name that it goes by?

Ok I located the blush at a London Drugs, it says it is annabelle #002. But to me it looks like a color that may not be universally flattering. It is a deep burgundy plum color, and on me it looks like a bruise.

If any of you have the original #002 blush that you love let me know if this is the correct color.

Thanks
CG
