Lately I've been cutting down on makeup, since it's been so humid. I'll skip MMU, and just do concealor and powder. But usually I'll do the whole thing. I like a little brown liner around my eyes, and lipstick. Blush, of course. |

for work or going out i need makeup!
i usually use either a satu or fresh palette for eyeshadow, clinique quickliner black eyeliner, and juice beauty tinted lipglosses (love them- the tint of colour is nice, keep my lips soft and moist really long, taste great, also have spf 15!!). sometimes i use a pale pink paul & joe eye pencil at the inside corners of my eyes to brighten them up, too.
if i need to be more 'dressed up' i will also usually put on lipstick or gloss (clinique & dior are my go-to's) and fiberwig mascara.
i never wore makeup for my skin before other than a bit of powder for special occasions because id always had a fairly normal complexion prone to a spot or two of acne, sometimes more before the time of the month, but recently i had an unusually bad outbreak and now that im battling the scars i need to cover them up for work and stuff i use a shiseido maquillage powder foundation, and a lancome concealor at the beginning when it was PARTICULARLY bad |

I normally only wear makeup when dressed up. Before I used to wear mascara and eyeliner, but after using Revitalash for four months, there's no need for that either |

I actually don't wear much makeup because I’m too lazy , just eye shadow lip gloss lipstick face powder. No adding make up during the day. |

I most always apply mascara and brown liner first thing. When I look in the mirror all my imperfections jump out.Very scary...
Eyes..concealer,biege shadow,thin black line close to lashes,curl lashes,mascara
Skin..sometimes MMU foundation & blush, blend like crazy, spray with mineral water,
Lips..Lipliner,Dusty Rose lipstick
I've always loved makeup, but try for the natural look now. |

On weekdays for work : Foundation-Powder-Blush-Lipgloss/Lipstick and Mascara + a thin eyeliner when I have the mood and time !
Weekends : 2-way cake or tinted moisturizer + lipstick.
Lipstick is a must at all times - other I feel 'naked'. I spend more time putting on 'preparation work' - serum/primer/sunscreen/concealer than on the actual make-up ritual. |

I won't go out when I don't make up at all.
But I realize it's not natural and simple life style.in deed I depend on the cosmetics too much!
How about you? |

In my line of work a polished look is important, so I am accustomed to wearing a suit, nylons, hair done, and full make-up five day a week. Make-up takes about 20 minutes each morning (not too terribly long--although my husband thinks so) and consists of liquid mineral foundation + under eye concealer + liquid eye liner smudged with powder + neutral eyeshadow, mascara + light dusting of setting powder & light dusting of mineral blush + a light pink lip liner & pale pink lipstick
On the weekends I give my skin a break and go bare faced unless we have something special planned. |

I too need a polished look as I attend a lot of Board (sometimes BORED) meetings and when I have to visit clients I like to look my best as I'm representing the firm. I use the MMU in the powder, (currently loving Laura Mercier's MMU), + concealer. Then it's on to a nude shimmer eyeshadows from Bobbi Brown and eyeliner then the NARS blush in Orgasm. Since I'm using the Lips 2 Kiss system, I use her colors. All of this takes about 10 mnutes AFTER I put on my skincare stuff. |

When I was in my teens to twenties I used to "pack it on" I wouldn't even answer the door without mascara at the least. I left friends and suitors waiting while I beautified myself! As I age I have had to lighten up. The time wasn't there and Big Time makeup looks silly on an older woman. It seems to enhance flaws. Mascara is still a must in public. I manage with a little concealer, eyebrows, mascara and always lips. Going out add Bare Minerals (their Warmth adds colour) and eyeshadow. |

I try to take really good care of my skin so I don't need to wear foundation or anything - but it's a rare day that I don't dab concealer onto an existing blemish or an old blemish mark.
I used to be much lighter on the makeup routine, but I find that I look much better with slightly heavier eye makeup now that I wear glasses. Plus, I can get away with funkier shades/styles and still have it look much less obvious behind my lenses somehow. (Just today I was in the process of switching from sunglasses to regular ones while out to lunch, and I went up to the lunch buffet without any glasses - my boyfriend commented that my eye makeup is MUCH more noticeable without them on!)
Most days I wear concealer on blemishes only, a light dusting of powder (Jurliqe Rose Silk Dust, plus then Peter Thomas Roth SPF 30 Mineral Powder Sunscreen) and two coats of Dr. Hauschka black mascara (but I may try switching to navy blue for my next tube since I have blue eyes). I usually apply Vincent Longo lip stain in Liquid Kiss and blot right away, so it's a very subtle wash of color that makes my lips "pop" without looking or feeling like lipstick. Oh, and I can't go without grooming my brows - I'm currently using my Chanel Forme Sourcils tinted brow mascara, but I'll be switching soon to Anastasia's Brows In Bloom kit in Blonde as soon as it shows up in today's mail, whee!
Most days I also wear two shades of shadow - a darker one on my lid/crease and under my eyes as a light liner, and then a lighter shade to wash over my brow bone. I often match it up with my outfit (within reason - I only do this with shades that flatter me anyway!) and if not, I do a natural-looking shimmery taupe or grey lid and a touch of peachy or vanilla highlighter.
If I'm feeling inspired or have extra time, I'll sometimes put Benetint on my cheeks, and/or wear some eyeliner. For big nights out, I do a heavier darker hand on the eyes and usually wear liner, and I'll put on sexy gloss too. My favorite vavoom liner is this crazy Cover Girl ink-type marker in a very dark black-blue shade - it's also great for coloring in the blond bases of my eyelashes so I don't get that weird "gap" effect between my eyelid and where the colored part of my lashes start. This is only for, like, the two times a year MAX that I go out clubbing or something, though. I'm mostly much too low-key for all that. |

I almost never wear more than lip gloss and powdered sunscreen. I really just can't be bothered. Besides, I'm always running late in the morning. I've been trying to make myself do mascara and white rim liner (to make my eyes look brighter) but if I have a few spare minutes in the morning, it's squandered on gossip sites
I still have some dark spots after a recent bad breakout and my sister has been dropping hints about concealer, so I may have to bite the bullet on that one soon
For fancy schmancy occasions I'll do some benetint, mascara and eyeliner. I'll also do some fun nail polish. For a really wild occasions I'll break out the false eyelashes and glittery makeup. I saw some falsies in a recent Sephora catalog that were made out of feathers. They looked so fun. I could totally see them being a cool wild club thing or something, but I don't know if I could keep my eyes open w/ such big lashes.
I try and keep up on pedicures and usually get either a really deep red or black on my toes. For my fingers I stick with really short nails and regular buffing. |

Gosh my makeup routine has been a roller coaster.
PRE ipl disaster: Liquid eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss every day. Foundation on special occassions
Post IPL for 3 months: Full on concealer to cover the PIH, CREAM foundation, 2 kinds of powder, liquid eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss
Now: LIQUID Foundaton, Powder, liquid eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss - looking at trying MMU again.
I can't wait to go makeup free again!!!! But at the same time I absolutely love wearing it now and trying all the different things. Dips |

I work nights so I have perpetual dark circles. I just started using MMU thanks to all of you after I found this forum. The MMU works great for me and my circles. I use it as a concealer, put some mascara on my very light eyelashes, maybe a bit of lipstick and go. |

I too work from home and don't wear makeup unless I'll be "seen," but when I do, I use a lot of products. However, they are very natural in color and lightly applied, so it just serves to brighten and even my very fair skin.
I use primer and foundation where I need them only, cream blush, taupe eyeshadow, spice lipliner, mascara, Bobbi Brown pot eyeliner, Anastasia brow powder, and a little highlighter here and there (on the brow bone and inner eye corners, etc.). I powder my T-zone if I need to, to set it. It becomes just my natural look made better. Kind of like what Bobbi Brown and Lauren Hutton's philosophies are. |

I do not leave the house without makeup of some sort.
If I am staying home or working at home, I do no makeup. When I am working in the office or going anywhere else - I wear it.
I, usually, do MMU, eyeshadow, maybe liner/maybe not - depends on how I feel, brow stuff to fill in areas that need it and mascara. I have to have mascara because my lashes are so blonde! If I am going out, I do a more dramatic eye. Oh I also put on some Bare Essentials stuff (not Warmth but like it - the name is not coming to me) as a blush thing - very natural, light and sheer. Does not look like I am wearing blush.
I can do my makeup in less than 10 minutes most days.

Ok, after reading all of these posts, I've realized that I wear a TON of makeup...
Primer - usually Smashbox
Foundation - Shiseido
Concealer - Prescriptives or Laura Mercier
Powder - Jane Iredale
Eyebrow pencil - Shiseido or Prescriptives
Shadow - Clinique Touch Tint or Touch Base
Liner - Bobbi Brown
Lipstick - every company and color imaginable
...but believe me, with my looks (or lack thereof) I'm doing society at large a huge favor! |

I always wear eyeliner and eyeshadow. And sunscreen. I like a really dark smoky eye look. besides that, i get lazy with lipstick or blush and almost never wear those. and i never wear foundation unless it's for a wedding or something.
doesn't seem like a lot of EDS ladies wear that much "skin" makeup like foundation and concealer but i think it's because as a group we probably have better skin than other women. when you have good skin as a base, you probably don't wear foundation, which imo, is probably the one makeup product that can age skin (block pores, accentuate lines) even if applied properly.
